Ah. That’s not the headline I saw – and I agree, it’s not clear enough.
Thanks for explaining.

Indiana began their stay at home order today as well. The list of essential businesses is ridiculously long. I don’t see how it will do any good.
They said 5 but Trump really meant 6 or 6.30 so that he can be in Prime Time.
"…However, we will not be airing the briefings live due to a pattern of false or misleading information provided that cannot be fact checked in real time.”
“We appreciate that the federal government has recognized the severity of the public health emergency,” Washington Gov. Jay Inslee said in a prepared statement. But that declaration did not “unlock many forms of federal assistance we have requested to help workers,” the Democratic governor said, including the disaster unemployment funds.
“It is time for the federal government to provide Disaster Unemployment Assistance to New Yorkers,” agreed Jack Sterne, a spokesperson for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, in a prepared statement.
But the senior Trump official said the issue “would have already been addressed” if Democrats “hadn’t airdropped in and made insane demands not related to Covid-19” by moving forward with their own stimulus proposal and blocking several procedural votes to advance the Republicans’ package. Lawmakers were expected to announce an agreement on a bipartisan proposal Tuesday.
If you live in a democratic state, be prepared to die, as Trump is in a war with blue states.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but all appropriations begin in the House so who airdropped into where?
Well of COURSE that’s why.
Silly, that’s only when a Democrat is President and the Republicans control the House.
He’s 27 minutes late. One med will wear off early.
The guy from Apprentice says that after a bump to get hyped Trump takes Xanax right before walking out on stage. We’ll see.
And I’ll still find them very entertaining. I’ve always liked a reprise in Broadway musicals.
The MN governor said it only affects about 22% if I heard him right. But when you consider grocery stores and medical facilities and stuff like that, I guess it could be?
This is the only PRESIDENT I want to hear from…
You mean all the corporate welfare the Dems demanded?? Those insane demands???
Why do the media let these kinds of BS statements go unchallenged???
The State Parks just closed here in WA. I understand why, they probably want their staff at home, can’t handle an extra cleaning burden for restrooms etc. Still a shame for whose looking to get outdoors and some fresh air, walk their dogs, etc.
It’s also going to crowd more people into the County and Municipal parks that are still open. There’s a city park a half mile from my house where the visitors will probably double or triple, now that the nearby state park is closed. I can handle being at home, and we have a sunny rear deck (when it actually is sunny here in the PNW), but some people get antsy if they can’t go out for a walk, even with social distancing.
Has there been anything said about the National Parks?? Are they closed yet?
That’s glorious! I am so happy to hear that!
As sobering as anything I’ve read today.
I am so happy to be living on 4 acres on Vashon next to extensive park trails. I know I am very lucky. The afternoon walks are the only thing that are keeping me sane. Well, that and the cats.
First, do no harm. I don’t know how this squares with Northwestern’s position and whether that would open that up to litigation… I just don’t know. We’ve never seen anything like this before.
