The rest of the world could drop the US dollar as the global reserve currency. Interest rates would rise, commodities also. Our market would start a prolonged fall. Inflation would return.
The best way for the rest of the to punish the US without firing a shot.
The euro, yuan or even both could replace it.

Mama T must have used that word a lot. (I almost wrote “when she was disciplining him” but I realized that whatever theory of child rearing his parents had should not be described in any terms that normal human beings would recognize as parenting.)

You know, my mother started me reading by the time I entered kindergarten and before first grade I was a voracious reader of early Silver Age DC comics (this was around 1958 or 59). I not only learned more nuggets of science than Drumpf the stable genius ever did despite his MIT professor uncle (largely because of the Comics Code of the day, superheroes, even Superman, were more likely to prevail through brains than brawn) but thanks to comics, I was more articulate and had a larger vocabulary than our 73-year old Mad Orange King. And that was before I started reading Stan Lee a few years later.

How’s that Middle East Peace plan going that Jared Kushner in charge of leading? He’s certainly earning his pay, isn’t he? Oh, that’s right. He doesn’t get paid by us. He’s just there doing stupid shit with MBS and Bibi through back-channels…with some kind of ill-defined security clearance that no one can explain to this day. Not once has that moron been called before Congress for his involvement in our foreign affairs, or for any of his slithering around in the Middle East doing who-knows-what. For all we know he’s still making bank for himself and the Donald through some back-room private deals. This is one messed up situation. The only people happy about what happened are the fucking fundies in Washington that secretly pine for the End Days and have been pushing tRump to do this kind of shit since he got into office.

Putin is running the show. He control Trump and Russia is a major ally of Iran.
Russia will handle the Election hacking and leave Iran to engage the military targets that would be too hot for Russia to hit.
Putin is bad, but he is a thinking person who understands strategy.
