Trump Casts The Worst And Dimmest For Season 2

Can Eric “the-one-who-eats-library-paste” Trump even count to 51?

It’s just a fact, just as death is. Another thing to consider is the aging process in and of itself. Aging at 40 is not the same as aging at 60 or 70, as I’m sure some of our more mature commenters will vouch for. As you get older aging actually accelerates. Of course, there are exceptions, such as how one takes care of themselves and just genes/DNA, but in general aging gets tougher as we get older.

Yeah, it’s not like anyone can use a VPN to bypass a statewide ban.

And imagine, for one second, what the reaction would be if a new Dem president had an unelected, foreign-born billionaire with him 24/7, making decisions about his new administration. No problem with it apparently from half the country and the GOP.

He’s exceptional, always has been, and is a totem/figurehead. The majority of congress, not so much. It’s not renowned for towering intellect in the first place.

I’m not proposing sending everyone over 30 to the carousel, just asking that those born during WW2 consider retiring.

Then start subtracting for the effects of leaded gas and fluoridation, not to mention endocrine disruptors and Perfluorinated Substances (Scotchguard, nonstick coatings, etc.).

I’m 55 and pretend I’m in better mental shape than I probably am.

After seeing my parents in law and my folks going through it, 70 is better than 75, 75 is significantly better than 80, and 80-85 is really damn rough. Unfortunately don’t know what 90 looks like. As you say, it accelerates.

All it’s takes for the house to revert to democratic control is a handful of retirements, since a lot of these congress members have job opportunities available in their state or district as lobbyists or with business organizations. Or the actuarial tables catching up with them and voila, you have speaker Jeffries.

Key word: “depends.” Sorry, couldn’t resist. It’s a way of life here at the Last Roundup Rest Home.

It’s just not ‘pork’ it’s the US budget that has very little ‘pork’ and things that can actually be cut. It’s also paying entitlements (Social Security, Medicare), it’s FEMA relief when natural disasters happen.

I don’t want to live in a country where people are left on their own to rebuild after a natural disaster, where elderly are homeless or close to homeless.

And I doubt if he really thinks about it I don’t think Musk wants to cut the money he gets from his companies various govt contracts.

Even if they voted for that? All those Red Staters need to stop sucking off the teat of Socialism and pull themselves up by their own bootstraps.

I knew a med student who could not read a bell shaped graph of enzyme activity in a test tube. He could not process the idea that as the enzyme used up substrate there was less product. He eventually flunked out of med school.

It’s wish casting, but another bite (something similar happened with the McCarthy vote) might succeed.

I think it boils down to the age old fear of death. Most people have a hard time with the idea that someday no one will ever remember you existed. Elon Musk will be Mr. Weyland:

Lotta hurricane damage in the Carolinas. Even so nut cases in South Carolina’s state government think the state should execute women who seek aboutions.

Who can forget Senator Strom Thurmond serving in the Senate until age 100. Folks in SC were afraid to primary him because they thought it was disrespectful to his years of service. Towards the end his staffs were doing the heavy lifting while they would occasionally wheel him out to vote.

I am 75 and I easily forget simple things. Names of people even though I can see their faces. Did it with an image of Nancy Pelosi in my head. I could get her first name but not “Pelosi” and it was annoying.

Trump’s Des Moines suit is chock full of irrelevant BS such as meritless attacks on Dems and Harris. It is one of his best non sequiturs.

Meanwhile, it has been a week since Nancy Mace shook someone’s hand. She has dropped the self-diagnosed arm sling, but still retains the wrist wrap. Poor thing.

It will simply be blamed on something else. And the media will make sure that the Republicans vociferous demands that the government is responsible for pricing after 2020 will fall into the memory hole.

What’s up with these Florida legislators constant obsession with sexuality and gender as well as reproductive rights? It’s as if they never resolved this stuff on their own so they have to project and take it out on the residents of the state.
