That’s where having a live blog is completely useful. I won’t watch it either.
But here’s the thing:
Gag Order Update
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is asking the judge in Trump’s hush money case to leave the gag order against him mostly intact for the time being.
From the morning memo (which we can’t, at this writing, comment on yet - this is TIFBG’s out. He will take this as his excuse as to why he can’t participate, even though the gag order is very limited. TIFBG will use this with his minions as to how his constitutional right to speak is being hindered and he cannot afford to cross the line.
With this, I think the debate is cancelled.

Been in DC for 26 years and remember them weaving in and out of traffic and getting seriously injured or killed on a regular basis by cars. Now we Uber Eats, Door Dash delivery drivers driving mopeds, and engaging in the same type of behavior. Not sure if there have been any fatalities yet.

He agreed to the terms of the debate while under the gag order. He’ll look like a coward if he backs out now.
Besides, he needs this debate as the best opportunity to prove his claims that Biden is mentally unfit for office. I’m sure the campaign has a room full of people sitting at video editing computers, ready to clip tiny portions of Biden’s performance out of context and send it straight to Fox News.

He didn’t the last time he backed out with no notice. There’ll be 150 reasons his campaign will use to get him out of it, e.g., no drug test on Biden. And his minions will totally accept whatever pablum and BS the campaign gives them.

I’m way more entertained by the continuous game of peekaboo that your avatar is playing with the boards. Every day it’s different! A few days ago, it was showing intermittently. Yesterday I could only see it in the top right corner of people replying to you, but not in the original post or in the quoted text boxes. Today it’s the opposite! Your lovely visage in full color in your posts, but not in quotes or replies. I’m so intrigued! How is this happening? and why only for @thebishop and no one else? Have you put some sort of a spell on discobot? Do you have special powers? I can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring!

If TCF backs out, Biden should do what Ossof did in Georgia - use the national air time to have a town hall style Q and A for the citizenry. He’ll be able to state his case to the nation while his chickenshit opponent licks his many, many wounds.

I was more referring to the free air time to make his case to the people. A TCF no-show would give Biden the time to make his case uninterrupted.
