The Fifth Circuit Is In For A Beatdown

Consider it another part of the Wingnut welfare system, but you get to pay for.

The fungus has barely ever appeared anywhere except in front of adoring fans since 2016. He gave up having ‘open’ speeches/appearances almost immediately. But everyone else is unfair and cowardly, not him.

TSF will pull some cheap-ass grandstanding move outside the debate venue, saying President Biden is refusing to do a blood test and so he will not participate in the debate.

Wait. So you are saying that he will not ascend body and soul into heaven? WTF?!

Barron’s got has the same expression Melania has when she’s with Trump.

I wonder if he’s the progeny of a union between Melania and some hunky Slovenian basketball player and not Trump? It would be wrong not to speculate.

I am less concerned about Jane Roberts than Martha Ann Alito and Ginny Thomas. Both Alito and Thomas should have recused themselves from any Jan 6 cases and yet there they sat. Alito made some lame excuse about his wife’s concern about the close proximity of Fuck Trump yard signs to a school bus stop. The problem with that is that schools were still closed due to Covid. So, Sam lied just as Thomas lied about his spouse’s blatant promotion of Trump and stopping the count of electoral college votes on Jan. 6. She attended the Jan 6 rally. There were clear conflicts for both men and they gave the country the middle finger.

Regarding Alito blaming his wife…
She will claim a first amendment right to fly the insurrection flag anytime she chooses. He will support her right to free speech since flags are speech. This is not blame shifting, It is a strategy. Checkmate?

I always wonder, when a person’s net worth is calculated, if that includes retirement funds, like IRA’s and annuities. Are pensions somehow factored in? Supreme Court justices have a good deal on pensions (since 1869 – supposedly, to encourage them to retire rather than hang onto the job despite ill health or waning faculties):

From what looks like a reliable site (as of 2022):

Retiring U.S. Supreme Court justices are entitled to a lifetime pension equal to their highest full salary. In order to qualify for a full pension, retiring justices must have served for a minimum of 10 years provided the sum of the justice’s age and years of Supreme Court service totals 80.

As of January 2020, associate justices of the Supreme Court earned an annual salary of $265,600, while the chief justice was paid $277,000.

Supreme Court associate justices who decide to retire at age 70, after 10 years on the job, or at age 65 with 15 years of service is eligible to receive their full highest salary – usually their salary at retirement for the rest of their lives. In return for this lifetime pension, judges who retire in relatively good health with no disabilities are required to remain active in the legal community, performing a minimum specified amount of judicial obligations every year.

Sure, she has a First Amendment right to fly the flag. But if she does, she should fly it CORRECTLY. According to the Flag Code, an American flag flown at night needs to be properly lit, and I didn’t see any lighting around it.

At some point, Trump being Trump loses it’s drama and motivation for news media coverage changes to “what crazy shit will he get into next?” voyeurism. Which is about where we are now I think.

Ascension doesn’t occur until three days after burial. The search for his body, rather than the preparation of his grave, sets off the series of events @ralph_vonholst foresees.

True, but it gets her husband off the hook and she can take the blame for flag abuse.

I was trying to figure out how big a tumor could grow in stage 5 liver cancer before it would be fatal. And I figured it might be several hemangiomas. Maybe about 10 cm? Still not big enough to account for his “beer belly.” Heck, the ovarian mass they took out of me was about 10 cm (about the size of a small grapefruit), and it was not at all obvious or even felt as a mass, just feeling “bloated.”

I think you are correct – ascites, alcohol and a whole lotta visceral fat…
