UBI is proof that we do not actually care about evidence when it comes to policy, because I struggle to find a better example of something so consistently shown to be beneficial and yet it’s never even brought up as a serious option outside of endless pilot programs that all tell us the same thing

So…does this mean USA Today has a pitchbot too?

What about these? But still no MSM. Cameron met with TFG in April, then met with Blinken.

Gee Mitt - I’m thinking your millionaire kids can afford to isolate themselves in their gated communities among the like mindeds. Spare a thought for us non-saints as we go about our crummy little lives as your party touts violence and open carry for machine guns - I mean, plus all the air pollution and tainted water we get to live with thanks to people like you.

You built it Mitt, now your precious grandkids can look down from the parapets at the rest of us in the dust. If one of your guards gives a grandkid a dirty look, then he can be pushed out and over.

The meeting between Starmer and Trump was real enough. But like Zelenskyy, Starmer, has to, for the good of the nation he leads, be prepared to deal with a Trump presidency. We here may not like it because Trump. This is realpolitik.

Sir Keir added: “The US people will decide who they want as their president, and we will work with whoever is president, as you would expect. I’m not going to speculate on what any particular issues may be the other side of the election.”

I wonder if Bosley Crowther did a formal review in the NYT of From Hell It Came?

That movie was almost as good as The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake or The Tingler.

I’m sure he’s busy trying to bribe and extort Starmer like he does with everyone and everything haha

Oh, I know…I wasn’t criticizing it as if the AI was generating something completely fake, just in the sense of why the fuck would we support the already-lazy Zombie Fourth Estate zombifying itself even further and killing the kinds of journalism jobs that require (setting aside whether the requirement is being met) actual brain power, creative thinking and at least some passing understanding of the subject matter?

AI is a grift from top to bottom and will serve nobody but the oligarchy.

And we all know what I think the oligarchy needs to do.

That alone means he’d never be a good president. You can’t be a coward and protect America.
