Once Trump is taken down his minions will try and make civil unrest their winning strategy but they are weak and mostly old. All we would have to do to defang them is close down Fox, throw a few of Trumps henchmen in prison and most will fold like cheap suits. These are not strong, principled people we are dealing with.

There are three angles w/r/t people like Tapper. One is what you have stated. The other is a barometer for the inattentive who think Tapper is a good enough “journalist” to be selected to moderate a Presidential Debate.
The other angle is the degree to which people like Tapper feed into what I would call the Obi-Wan Kenobi tactic/strategy of the Right.
…Ever since the Millennium we have been in a world of “talking points”…meaning that there is more wielding of words like the weapons the Star Wars characters fought with and far less listening. The Right (and especially Trump) wield words as weapons tailored to slavering audiences who consume them as a wrestling fan consumes a hammerlock.
It is the editorial staff of CNN which is sending Tapper out to ply his wares, presently judging that this $$$$$$$$ more.

I believe 18 minutes is the standard for those.
Or there’s no gap, but all of the cameras are aimed in such a way that there’s a gap in the coverage area, such that someone could access his cell without being seen on camera. Thus no way to prove or disprove that someone else did it.

The New York Post just seems to be pushing the idea that suicide is really hard to do in Epstein’s cell.
Reports claimed that Epstein hanged himself, but the former inmate who spoke to the Post said he wouldn’t have been able to do.
They said the sheets are paper and thus wouldn’t have been strong enough to hold a 200lb-Epstein. Even if they were, the inmate said, the ceilings are ‘eight or nine feet’ high with nothing to attach to.
‘They don’t give you enough in there that could successfully create an instrument of death,’ they said.
'You want to write a letter, they give you rubber pens and maybe once a week a piece of paper. Nothing hard or made of metal.
‘And there’s a cop at the door about every nine minutes, whether you’re on suicide watch or not.’

If any harm comes to the Clintons I think trump shoud be held accountable as an accessory before the fact. Is that the correct legal term?
Now, Mr. Anglin of daily stormer fame has various civil fines in excess of $18 million. The same could be laid at trump’s feet.
