True. Particularly since there was likely an agreement in the House and Senate to go along with Manchin’s and Sinema’s bipartisan party in exchange for their support on the reconciliation bill. So basically, Manchin is reneging on his part of the agreement.

Yeah, its so interesting that the people who are so concerned about “fetal heartbeats” have no qualms against eating meat, which, obviously comes from animals who had heartbeats. A six week fetus is not the same as a fully formed human being.
Also – I want to tell those people whose slogan is “its a child not a choice” that “its a uterus inside a woman’s body not a suitcase or an incubator.”

I think the reconciliation bill has a significant amount of funding for climate change programs in it. Paul Krugman claimed it may be the last opportunity to get real money applied to the problem for a decade or more if it fails now.
