trump meets with the Russian Foreign Minister in the Oval Office. This should be seen as a “fuck you” by us to our ally (Ukraine) that is fighting Russia on our behalf. Great optics there donald.

Although Lavrov confirmed that election meddling was discussed, his account appeared to indicate that he brought up the issue himself.
Because Trump is too effing stupid and cowardly to do it himself. And don’t forget the last meeting where he and Putin were publically joking about interference.
Both Trump and Pompeo are Russian stooges.

Without even addressing the content of the readout or the actual discussion…
The current administration has broken our trust in the reported readout summaries of private discussions involving POTUS. It is impossible to accept any summary at face value, and because of the reckless relationship with truth the administration has adopted, we are now in the truly wretched position of potentially trusting the readouts of foreign interests with adversarial roles (read, “Russia”) far more readily than those of our own leadership.
