This seems like some sort of crime variety show. One criming skit after another.

So the Life is Good multi-level marketing firm is some sort of Christian thing?

Heh…

These two fools, especially Benton, seem to be so certain that they’re on the same level of genius as some elderly retired orange guy who lives in Floriduhh. They’ve likely been committing crimes that are yet to be discovered.

If we’re starting a pool, I’m going with Deripaska. $100K to do a check in with his plant seems on par with his lifestyle choices.

in a just world, everyone who was pardoned by Trump will be charged with something else new, found guilty, and sent to a worse jail or situation than they were before Trump pardoned them.

And they get Long COVID

Lousy bet. Deripaska and the other oligarchs don’t need to do a minor side hustle like that to get photos.

I’m going with some more minor name, likely one unfamiliar with us, that runs around the oligarch circles but isn’t a key individual in the corruption, just someone collecting photos with different celebrities and officials to hang on their “i love me” wall.

Also, if the campaign hadn’t managed to wrangle the $25K from them, seems like they would have been scot-free as well.

Except they assume everyone is taking a cut. It is expected. For instance, when Cohen paid off Stormy Daniels (about $150k), he was reimbursed for it via payments for “legal services”, about $500k. TFG had to know those numbers.

Did he though? How likely was it that his accountants were keeping 3 books? One for the government, one for Trump and one for how the business actually operated?

Some acts get the hook, eg. The Fruman&Parmas ukrainian jewish charity for potheads act. And we may have seen the last curtain call for ghoulsie, who, doubtlessly on the sober advice of his attorney, appears to have decided to pause crimin while the feds are still actively investigating him.

Eric?

The charging document reveals an alleged scheme that, if uncovered in fall 2016 or for the following two years, would likely have shocked the political world, if only because it accused two Republican political operatives of funneling money from a Russian businessman into Trump’s presidential campaign, just as the country was focused on Russian ties to the former president.

Then they act surprised when it blows over until the next news cycle.

But the wire transfer came from Vienna, where Firtash has been holed up for years.

My point is that he doesn’t give a shit about the photo, and $100K is pocket change. Just stopping by to remind certain you-know-whos who they’re working for.

In any case, Trump was getting a lot of media coverage at that point. Anyone get some random photos of a guy wearing pinstripes and dark glasses stepping out of a limo near the back door of that cheesesteak shop?

Don’t you need a radiologist to check for proper insertion depth of the UV probe?
