Read an article yesterday that discussed some of these issues. The electors are being provided security and, if there is a blockade in traffic, etc, then alternates are on call/in the wings to make the vote. The full number of votes shall be cast due to the diligent work done by the Biden/Harris team.

Dozens upon dozens of members of Congress will refuse to accept Biden as President for the entirety of his term. They will do so publicly. They each have a base of voters they must cater to for their next election, and in a great many states and districts that base is comprised of a majority that actually believes Trump was robbed and Biden is a pretender to the office. Conceding Biden is President would be the death of their prospects in their next run for reelection.

That SNL joke this past weekend shuts this down forever. If the Jets are leading by the end of the first quarter, then any points the other team gets in the next 3 quarters are invalid, therefore Jets win. You can’t keep counting points willy-nilly. The point count ends when you’re ahead. All those Biden votes that caught him up and put him in the lead are invalid.

Better late than never. We need the thin sliver of folks like him, and we’ll see more as Trumpism starts to fall apart. Don’t give him a medal but it’s pointless to continue spewing the same level of vitriol on him as on those still in Cult 45.

back in the ~1990 I saw a documentary film (featuring, briefly, both Michael Moore and the wife of one of Alan Berg’s murderers ) called “Blood in the Face” which was primarily interviews with Michigan Militia and Neo Nazi types in Cochoctah County, MI. What I can’t wrap my head around is that these folks seem to equate our displeasure with the election of Donald J. Trump in 2016 and the Woman’s March, or other protest marches that happened after the 2017 Inauguration are what they are doing now against a Joe Biden win. The questioning and investigation into Russian interference through social media was a worthy concern, but it didn’t ramp up into Powell’s crazy argument that voting machines were changing Trump votes to Biden. That somehow Dems stuffed the ballot boxes, that people processing the ballots couldn’t count.
Trump has never been an inclusive person in his whole life, whether in politics or real estate. So why do these followers think that everyone should have fallen inline and gone along with his penchant for dividing?
