True enough, they will, but, he’s been running a money laundering operation in Florida, and NYC, in the open, for years now. We should indict Donnie for that, and a handful of Attorneys General for having failed to indict him earlier.

Here’s the other concern I have when discussing this earlier today with dear Hubby:
There was that kerfluffle in the beginning of the audit where marks were being made on these ballots with black or blue pen that should ONLY have been made in red ink.
What happened with those ballots? Were enough of them contaminated to make a case for the Big Lie? And what other chicanery as yet unidentified is going on that would affect this outcome? And why is it taking them this long to do the re-count/audit? Is this longer or shorter than the original recount that took place late last year?
Inquiring minds want to know…
I still have MAGAts insisting that this will prove everything they’ve been yelling about since 5 November 2020.

Here’s an image of a guy looking at ballots with UV light in a cardboard box. This is the level of desperation in this “audit”. The whole thing is angering, annoying, embarrassing…name it. The state wherein I reside is governed by fucking idiots.

If Cyber Ninjas does this the way the Republicans expect them to, and discover the make-believe fraud in favor of Biden and find all the non-existent uncounted Trump votes, then they stand to make a lot - a fucking lot - of money going from red state to red state making findings to say the election result should be overturned.

You know, that fact that the GOP is so convinced that there is massive voter fraud taking place leads me to wonder why they have not championed an audit of every state… Why just the ones that Dems won? I mean, the ES&S machines used in the traditionally Republican hostage states (Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri , Kansas) … may all have malfunctioned (really mean - been rigged). So let’s make sure that the ‘former guy’ didn’t really lose in those places that so strongly defend and uphold principles of honesty and fairness. Surely the highly moral Republican wants to know ALL the truth.

The day the broadcasters moved the news divisions under the entertainment VP was the day I stopped watching.
At one time it was very educational to watch, especially when the national broadcast was on at a different time, prior to VCRs etc. Vietnam war reporting was an example CBS would have stories as a breathless lead that ABC would not even mention and vice versa…

Don’t forget… the original election night count went for Biden. Two subsequent republican controlled audits that hand counted ballots found that Biden won. Republican Governor Ducey certified the count and the election legally was Biden’s narrow victory. Now trump tries to blame democrats but they had no hand in this. They couldn’t have screwed with this even if they wanted to. The Goobers have that sort of control here. So having said that. It makes this “audit” all the more ridiculous. And insulting, and it devalues my vote and I do not take that insult lightly. UV light ferchrissakes.

I agree. The outcome of this is pre-ordained. They simply need ballots that fit their specific definitions of fraudulent, even if they are actually legally cast. When the state officials point out that their ‘examples’ are complete nonsense, they’ll just wink at the rubes and say “of COURSE they’d say that”. Then they’ll move on to Georgia.
Whether this actually results in a revolt is harder to know. I think there will be right wing violence, but I don’t see an organized insurrection of any scale on the immediate horizon. However, it does set up 2022 for them. If they end up not taking both the house and senate, they may declare our elections hopelessly compromised and encourage the faithful to take to the streets.

Should individual voters start demanding proof that their ballot has been handled correctly, respectfully and not manipulated by these “auditors”? Is there any legal footing for that out there?
