Caucuses: Trumpism for the Left.

Yes, Texas early voting starts Feb. 18, but mail ballots are already available. I’ve already voted.

He says he has cancer, but has it been independently confirmed? Limbaugh is a liar.

Living in OR I can’t understand why everyone can’t get a month or so to think about who they want and then just send in the vote.

Winning the nomination, as we know, doesn’t mean winning in November. That electability factor is heavy this year.

Maybe the DNC can tell Iowa it can only keep it’s first in the nation status if it switches to holding an actual primary.

I don’t understand why anyone would need a month, particularly these days.

Either you’re a Nazi, or you’re not. Not much thought needed.

ETA: The actual reason, of course, is voter suppression. Old White folk are the most likely to have all the free time to go stand in line during voting hours on a Tuesday…

I went to a caucus for the first time in 2016. (Texas didn’t caucus and WA state has the weird combo of voting and caucusing)

Here was my take, at the beginning of the event, there was a fun energy that began to pall as people got contentious. I was with the Hillary group and we were fairly surrounded by Bernie supporters. It became very uncomfortable. Not at all democratic, in that there was a lot of pressure. So, not a fan.

Or even permitted, if the answer is yes.

YEEE HAAA!

I guess, I’m being ordered to say something by TPM program that makes more sense.

It’s not. It’s just Democratic whining and handwringing as per normal.

The choice is between any of the Humans and a mutated nazi-wanna-be-soviet-commie-piece-of-shit-orangutan.

Whomever we nominate will win, absent russkie vote changes and Roberts’ Court ensuring that lawsuits fail.

I’d be in for that. But what if someone like Klobuchar or Pete did way better than expected, demonstrating momentum, the media could annoint one of them.

A month would give consideration to the National Procrastinators’ Association. Yeah, if someone doesn’t know by now their opinion is a crap shoot.

As President of that, I can assure you that the deadline doesn’t matter. Whether it’s tonight or in a year, we’ll still show up and make it happen at the last possible second.

Or not. Ask me again tomorrow.

It’s also what the TV folks say the IA caucus goers are saying. 65 percent say “can beat trump” beats “shares my values” at 35 percent as biggest factor in picking a candidate.

I will if I can get it together to do so.

I previously lived in WA, so I understand the simplicity of voting comfortably in your home. It should be made mandatory nationwide.
