This year we are having a primary. I am with you, caucuses are not fun. Bernie’s folks were strident then and now.

Yep, we switched to a “hybrid” primary…with everyone voting for the candidate and the caucuses determining who the delegates are.

The problem with our primary is it’s mixed. That means independents can vote in the primary. My big concern is that pro-Trump Repubs will vote Dem and skew the vote to Bernie. Yes, I am a worry wort.

I read somewhere last week that trumps was sending nearly 200 schmoes to Iowa to cause inconveniences. I’d like to know if that is happening at all.

No can do. New Hampshire has the first primary. They talk about switching to a primary in Iowa every 4 years and New Hampshire throws a wobbler.

Who cares what Lara Trump thinks. I sure don’t. But here she is,

Lara Trump, on Fox News, says Bernie Sanders might provide the strongest contrast for voters if he were to be nominated to lead the party in November: “If you want a stark contrast and you want to show people really how frightening it could be out there, I guess Bernie Sanders could be that person.”

A woman was just interviewed saying that she has met all the candidates and she doesn’t understand how other Iowans could be undecided since they could have easily met a candidate.

Damn…I’d like to actually meet the candidates. That is the other aspect about the Iowa thing I don’t like.
