Starting to think this is a which hunt. Which investigation? 1. The coup/riot investigation. 2. The fake elector investigation. 3. The phone call/email pressure campaign on election officials/workers. 4. The investigation into members of congress involvement. 5. The investigation into pressure on the DOJ. What other state/federal investigations are there? So many to choose from, which one will it be?

I agree it is unlikely Ginni will appear before the committee. But if she does, I also predict she will have one if not two very strong allies defending her at all costs, Liz Cheney and perhaps also Adam Kinzinger.
First off Ginni is not who anyone cares about, we all care about Clarence and what should be obvious is Ginni and Clarence are one and the same. That is any claim that Ginni did not discuss her advocacy for a stolen election with Clarence fails the “laugh test”.
But here is the thing, for Republicans to draw the line with Donald Trump and insurrection, it is another to draw the line with abuse of power in general. Liz and the rest of these Republicans for reasons of their own, have supported all the other crazy undemocratic policies of the Republican Party and its quest for power over all else.
And now where does this quest for power unite Republicans, even those who oppose Trump’s insurrection, than the Supreme Court.
So I hope Ginni Thomas testifies, I doubt she will, but if she will have a powerful ally if not two on her side.

I hope DOJ takes a look at Arizona’s fake electors, as well. Jim Lamon was one of them, now running for Senate.

I think there was a report yesterday saying that they were pursuing the AZ fake electors. I just want DOJ to make clear that the fake electors happened because of the organization and intense pressure applied by the ring leaders: Trump, Eastman, Rudy and Meadows. No one would’ve had any fake electors but for those efforts.

A lot of activity the last two days. Hopefully, this isn’t just a bunch of rodeo clowning around (hey, look over here) while the big fish swim away free. I’m not falling for it.
In fact, AG Garland was just in Ukraine where he addressed the issue of bringing war criminals to justice. He stated that “there is no hiding place for war criminals.” My first thought was that I hope he pursues our domestic enemies just as aggressively. The oath he took was to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. If we don’t get our domestic house in order we won’t be of much use prosecuting war criminals in other countries.
