The NM and PA signatories, not much, the weaselword conditional language they inserted will probably get them off the hook. The other five states, theyāre looking at good old ConFraudUS, conspiracy to defraud the Untied States, which I think carries a 10 year max sentence. Butā¦for it to be fraud they would have had to have known they were committing a fraud at the time they signed (good old mens rea, state of mind). Now, all but 15 of the 84 signatories are the same persons as would have been the electors if the GOP had won their state, and I am of the opinion that a GoP state level heavyweight entrusted with an electoral vote would have been sufficiently well informed on how the electoral college works that the mens rea part should be a slam dunk, but then, Iām not paid to try cases.

The current postponement is only a month, so theyāre still operating on Scaramucciās (11 days), not a 6 month Friedman Unit. They canāt delay too much longer before the rubes catch on, so I think weāre 4 or 5 Mooches until something is online, or the whole thing implodes.

I doubt it, first time offenders, non violent crime, pillars of the community, yada yada. And all they did was conspire to overturn the decisions of 10 million voters. Or, if you prefer, the will of 150 million voters since the larger idea was to reverse the outcome of the general election. So 8-20 months depending on whether the judge put on his/her crankypants that morning.
Also, the 15 alternafraud replacement electors will likely skate on mens rea. (15 of the 84 regular GOP electors noped out on this deal and were replaced by others who plausibly did not understand what they were getting into)

As a citizen of Pennsylvania i heartily endorse indicting, prosecuting , convicting and sending Mastriano to prison for conspiracy to defraud the voters of Pennsylvania and conspiracy to interfere with an official proceeding of Congress. Couldnāt happen to a more deserving asshole.
