I don’t know about the other guy, but in Finchem and Ward, they’ve got the archetypes of RWNJ.

I guess, being America, we have to give them a choice. How about leave the country permanently, or spend the rest of your life in prison.

For those of us old enough to remember the Senate Watergate hearings, the funniest part was the “stonewalling” of “I can’t recall”. “I can’t recall” for about a year was a favorite comic punch line.

I have a feeling that televised 1-6-2020 hearings will do the same for “I refuse to answer because it could incriminate me”.

The subpoenas also went out to Pennsylvania state senator Doug Mastriano (R), who spoke with Trump before Jan. 6 and attended the rally that day,

Oh, excellent. This mofo really needs to go down.

Roman was part of what the panel described as a “coordinated strategy” from the Trump campaign to contact state-level Republican lawmakers. The Trump campaign, the panel said, “urge[d] them to ‘reclaim’ their authority by sending an alternate slate of electors that would support former President Trump.”

And the ringleaders of this strategy were Jeffrey Clark and John Eastman. Not a coincidence they’re pleading the fifth.
