McConnell currently gets a pass, because he’s on ir and Trump, not he, is in trouble.

Very depressing.
There are things each person can try to do to stay healthy and overcome a badly dealt hand, but as a society, a country, or a political movement working to improve outcomes for healthy longevities…that’s not about to happen anytime soon.
There’s an entire Republican party right now where ignorance is bliss, science is annoyance if not an outright evil in their eyes, and those that have enough money try not to think about those that don’t. A lot of them have insulated themselves with false gods, lots of guns and an insane amount of victimhood. Not a lot of healthy stuff going on there to begin with and that approach has a way of infecting us all to some degree.

If I’m not infected by now by this killer virus, I’m not going to be. You’re stronger than that. I agree that this is uncharted territory, but then I look at the history of this country and realize that this is just another challenge that we must face. I posted an email from Adam Schiff on the glass ceiling thread. He’s right, of course.
I’ve never felt more confident that we will get through this, too.
