Agree. Fat Wolverine is a bad look for him. But in a last-man-standing primary (which is what it will be if Trump is out, as I expect he will be), Ted seems like the most plausible outcome. Nobody really likes him, but he’s broadly acceptable to everybody on that side of the fence.

Trump reported having foreign bank accounts between 2015 and 2020, including a bank account in China between 2015 and 2017, his tax returns show.
Trump was required to report the accounts to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). The filings show that the former president maintained foreign bank accounts in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland and China.
The China bank account, which was reported by The New York Times in 2020, was tied to Trump International Hotels Management’s business push in the country, Trump Organization lawyer Alan Garten said at the time.
The 2020 disclosure of business dealings in China came as the Trump campaign sought to portray opponent Joe Biden as a “puppet” of China. Biden’s income tax returns and financial disclosures showed no business dealings or income from China.
Yet more proof, as if any were needed, that absolutely every accusation Republicans make is psychological projection.

Granted, not totally RIGHT on point, but still, this shit is ridiculous. I’m getting the sense that they’re not just reading existing laws in an overbroad way so as to impute their cultural values to words like “disorderly conduct” and “nuisance”, but that we’re also going to see them reaching back for the kinds of laws like “you can’t walk your pig in the Town Square on Sundays” that remain on the books, but which have only been enforced once or twice in the past 50 years by culture-warring idiots (e.g., wasn’t 1992 also around the time when trying to censor rap lyrics was all the rage?)…and if the loser of the suit doesn’t appeal up the chain, the law never gets undone.
