House Releases Trump’s Tax Returns – TPM – Talking Points Memo

And considerably less than half of Biden’s intellect.

This sounds like another ho-hum moment to me. So we know what’s in his tax returns 6 years later. Are they finally going to arrest him for tax evasion? Collusion with Russia? Tax Fraud? J-walking?

Let me know when he’s in handcuffs for anything.

So sorry for your loss. I hope the memories of your life together will live on in your heart. Please take good care of yourself.

Tepid glasses of water don’t turn states of 20M+ people into total cultural fascism lockdowns. You can wishthink your way to overconfidence all you want just because his presentation is uncharismatic and his whiny/pussy-voiced delivery isn’t going to light peoples’ loins on fire, but he’s going to have a laundry list of “I OWNED THE LIBS AND FUCKED THEIR WOKE GAY BROWN FEMINIST IMMIGRANT-LOVING ASSES!!!” accomplishments to brag about up and down the stage. That’s all he needs while the MSM filters that message to the public into “common sense” and “moderate centrism”. He’s also got the laundry list of checkboxes checked, starting with the Ivy credentials, the military service (sure, just TRY to denigrate it because it was “only” JAG), the hot wife with the cancer story, the cute kids, House and Governor, etc. etc. The MSM is going to sell him like they’re the ShamWoW guy on meth.

He is THE single biggest danger to the country right now.

What I’ve not seen mentioned anywhere is how this puts the lie to DTs claiming during the 2016 presidential campaign that he could not release his tax returns because he was being audited. That it was a lie is not surprising, it’s just that now it’s a fact that it was a lie and not a supposition.

No, but this does…

Yes, but if he wins the GOP nomination then the stakes change. Then it becomes: “Would you prefer this flawed candidate but at least he’s a Republican? Or would you rather vote for that filthy Marxist Democrat?”

Republicans demonstrated in 2020 that they would vote for a massively flawed Presidential candidate to keep a Democrat out of office.

Good company.
Will Jack Smith be TFG’s ‘Elliot Ness’?

It’s been mentioned thousands of times in 2016 and going forward that an audit does not prevent a candidate for office from releasing his tax returns.

It’s a boomdoggle?

Or a boomerang metaphor. I guess we have to entertain ourselves with yesterday’s news till the House is back in session. Maybe we can even have fun again in the new year?

But there are sound reasons for prohibiting the sale of a used boat anchor to a minor after 6 pm.

Trump “surmised that he was frequently audited ‘because of the fact that I’m a strong Christian, and I feel strongly about it and maybe there’s a bias.’”

So with him and his career it’s the Greatest story always sold.

At least he’s the kind of person you can feel OK about hating.

It worked well enough in 2016, which was enough to guarantee control of how elections are run (via the supreme court) for another generation.

Thanks to our stupid electoral college system, way too close for comfort.

A republican without drumpf’s baggage would quite possibly have carried that across the finish line.
