It may have just dawned on Elmo, through his ketamine fog, that he also has criminal liability which a cornered trump may be willing to drag into the daylight. Something about voting machines in PA. The most recent cyber crime DOGE has carried out, with the hacking and theft of all citizens’ most private and sensitive information, may have made him forget about his dodgy deeds during the election. It was all going to be fine as long as the conspirators controlled the levers of power and remained friendly with each other. The fact is, there is plenty of dirt on Elmo which trump can pin on him if he can do it under the cover of both deniability and executive immunity.

And who would really question, now that the NYT helpfully got it out there that, in addition to ketamine, he uses ecstasy and mushrooms, an “accidental” overdose.
They’ve very nicely set the stage for removing this annoyance, permanently.
