Could be the hair dye as well.

I believe that he was suspended during the interim of the investigation and hearing. The license to practice in Federal Court was based on his New York license. I don’t think he’s licensed independently anywhere.

I looked it up a month ago or so. I don’t think he is licensed anywhere else.

Very much so. It’s usually not automatic, but I think it probably is in this case because Rudy was undoubtedly a waive-in to D.C. based on his NY bar admission. With that predicate suspended, this was probably mandatory for the D.C. bar.

Man, I forgot about that guy. I will add him to my mental lineup of Batman villains who shuffled through this administration.

Sucks to be you, Rudy.

I wouldn’t rate him that high. More of a bond villain henchman who rates less than three minutes’ screen time.

How many states is he licensed in? He could be bouncing from court to court for a while. Too bad he couldn’t get tRump to pay his bill… he could use the money right now.

None. Suspended in NY, inactive and suspended in D.C. He’s not licensed anywhere else. I would expect he has gotten admitted pro hac vice from time to time in other jurisdictions for individual cases, but that’s not the same as being licensed in them.

I suspect it is relatively common to have multiple state admissions in the NE corridor, and it’s certainly prevalent in DC. But in most of the rest of the country, it’s definitely not the norm (but not crazy) to have multiple state bar admissions. It mostly only becomes an issue when you need to make an appearance in a court away from home.

But first he’d have to find wife #4.

He has an intern.

You may be on to something. I’ll believe it when I see it, but Mary Trump thinks daughter and Trump’s favorite girlfriend, Ivanka, may be next in the prosecutor’s crosshairs and may well flip on daddy tax cheat.

Whatever it takes to get his hands off her hips.

It’s usually a pro-forma action for someone who has passed the bar in whatever state and then comes to DC to work for the government, gets waived in to the DC Bar. Remember, this is for GOVERNMENT lawyers – everyone else has to pass the DC Bar, the Maryland Bar, and/or the Virginia Bar.
