Giuliani Suspended From Practicing Law In DC After NY Suspension For Pushing Big Lie | Talking Points Memo

That’s not my recollection from figuring out everywhere I could waive in because I never wanted to take a damn bar exam again lo those couple decades ago. If you have a source saying it’s only those doing government service, I’d be happy to see it. I certainly agree that most in private practice waive in via VA and MD, since those are the ones a stone’s throw away, so might as well pick up two licenses at once.

Rudy is learning that words have actual consequences. I am hoping trump gets to learn that lesson as well…publicly. In spades.

The kids will flip, everyone but Weisselberg will flip. Unless Allen’s son gets pinched, then IDK I still think he won’t flip.

The perception of money. Yes he is wealthy, but he commands more attention than his fortune deserves, if reporting is right.

Okay, this is just the shattered state of what’s left of my mind at the end of a Wednesday, but this sent my brain off thusly:

“He has a wife, you know.
(ominous pause)
Do you know what she’s called?”

Has this fool ever practiced law? Is making shit up and flinging it toward a court practicing law? None of these clowns needs to be a lawyer to pull the shit they pull.

He was a US Attorney who prosecuted mob and Wall Street cases (to the extent there’s a difference). Looks like he took a lot of notes from those guys along the way. Also looks like he didn’t learn shit about how to avoid their fates.

There are consequences in the legal system if you knowingly and constantly tell lies. There used to be more severe consequences in daily life. You can tell a stream of total propagandistic lies all day every day and it’s practically a requirement of membership in the GOP. You would face far worse social disapproval if you showed up one day in a '70s-style leisure suit.

Well, at least there is another silver lining this morning. Donald Trump’s and Rudy Giuliani’s mole into the NYC Office of the FBI, who fueled months of “Hillary Indictment about to drop” rumors AND was instrumental in forcing James Comey to announce (a mere 10 days before the 2016 election) that yet more Anthony Weiner emails had been found on the laptop of HRC Aide Huma Abeddin’s laptop and were under investigation, has departed this earthly vale. Yet another example of an neo fascist in Donald Trump’s putrid orbit who was willing to abuse the power that his former FBI position and his access to a cabal of ultra right wing agents in the NYC office gave him. So much for the myth of ultra Liberal law enforcement and intelligence deep state.

Ugh, I’m sorry to read that about Kallstrom.

I remember him from TWA’s Flight 800 investigation, and thought well of him in that regards. My little town lost 16 high school students and 5 chaperones in that tragedy.

At least Rudes will have those piles of money from the legal fees he collect from Trump to keep him warm.

Ruthless use of power. Many question how much money he has.

I mis-read the original. It appears that it is the proceeding itself is what has been stayed rather than the suspension. Meaning, I think, that this “case” is still open until NY makes their final determination.

He’s certainly a useless idiot.

Giuliani, The Pillow Guy, Michael Cohen, Steve Bannon, Sidney Powell. How’s that Trump after-life working out for you?

One can only hope.
