What an absurd position. And yet, it’s all grist for the mill. I have little doubt Barr has OLC whipping up some contentious, hyper-technical interpretation of legal standing or privilege the result of which is that nobody can ever know anything Trump doesn’t permit them to know. Even after he’s dead.
Despite its many virtues, our legal system is also a recipe for the evolution of truly staggering sophistry.

Justice in the United States stopped when Barr assumed his position as AG.
I have seen very little on the nuts and bolts of how he can be removed before it is too late.

Is that true in all cases? Setting aside this particular set of people and that this is a congressional subpoena; if an attorney advises me and my business partner on a matter, do I have zero attorney client privilege if my partner decides he wants to share all information?

If the information gets out then the privilege is moot.
This is why two parties using one lawyer is usually going to end up as a conflict of interest.

Federal prosecutors attempted to have Parnas’ bail revoked last month in part over allegations that the South Florida businessman lied about a $1 million loan he received from Firtash’s lawyer in September 2019. The judge denied the government’s request last month.
Is it me, or do you get the feeling that Barr really wants to get his hands, literally, around Parnas’ throat! I can’t help but see another Epstein like mishap for poor Lev in the future unless he spills enough to make it moot.
