Thank you for that. It’s becoming pretty clear from this and other comments of personal experience that Willis’ claim of holding and using cash is not the bullshit claim that I, as a white dude, had thought it might be when it came up yesterday.
I would love to see the media conduct a poll of black women on this practice, although I suspect the sample size would be low if those women can’t be found in diners in the heartland.
