Fani Willis Endures Disrespect, Racist Tropes And Public Ridicule

That’s why the rest of my comment defends her claim.

Wow! Lemme put on my glasses and read that again…

Yep, over the top anger probably because Trump’s opposition research team fabricated a story about a Black woman who dared to prosecute a White, wealthy, former Preznut for his multitude of crimes.

“Black woman goes on a date” is automatically a BIGGER crime than Trump’s calling up the state A.G. to request another 11,000 ~ votes.

Hunter Biden’s accuser was just arrested for lying to the FBI about bribes that NEVER happened and you don’t see a pattern here?

Is there any physical evidence against Fani Willis? NO! Was there any physical evidence against Hunter Biden? NO! But let’s crucify Fani Willis before she’s ever proven guilty dammit! Because she’s an attorney blah, blah, blah.

You got nothing.

She has been onto this for a long time and has done considerable writing about it. I don’t know if it will sink the prosecution of Hunter Biden but it maybe in troublel

I watched some of Willis’s testimony and I was so pissed for her. My husband keeps cash. Because you never know when you might need it. Maybe people who were raised with a lot of money and resources can’t get that, but then again, they don’t get a lot of things. So, thus far Trump has gone after the AG, the DOJ, the FBI, Jack Smith, a bunch of judges and some court clerks. And of course, he has gone after NBC and CNN. As far as he is concerned, if you are not for him, you are against him.

I hope he loses this one. I like Willis.

I’d like to see Trump behind bars as much as anyone here. This racist misogynistic public flogging is disgraceful. But Willis and Wade did it to themselves. While the practice seems strange and ill-advised to many, it is her right to follow her family tradition of paying cash for everything. But they both know it is unethical and illegal for public servants to accept gifts from contractors. They both know reimbursements without documentation do not stand up to scrutiny. Whether it was carelessness, arrogance or defiance doesn’t matter. They screwed the pooch.

Was not aware of that, thanks.

I was just thinking that Black Georgia voters and those in other states definitely got it.

So, she’s guilty until she proves her innocence - got it.

It’s taken more than seven years, but Trump is using his surrogates to get revenge for this affront to his white male superiority:

of course you flagged it. cause chaos then point a finger. I cannot imagine how politicians put up with people…

But there it an outside possibility that he is a ultra pure breed of some odd sort … so extreme … only achieved through excessive inbreeding – would potentially explain the mental instability, bizarre behavior & deviant fetishism (ketchup as a personal lubricant).

Zelensky said it best:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who was also in Munich, said it was “obvious” that Putin was directly behind Navalny’s death. “He doesn’t care who dies to keep his position,” Zelenskyy added. "Putin must lose everything and answer for what he has done."

From the NBC Article announcing Navalny’s murder. Putin is so marked. Dead man walking.
And so are those here who support him. Like Ron Johnson:

Why bother if you can just grab some of that sweet sweet RNC cash and put it towards settlements that include NDAs? lol

Miss Kitty formerly worked in the mortgage industry, specializing in a lending sector that focused on distressed borrowers. A nonprofit lender. She frequently commented as to how a huge number of minority borrowers, when reporting assets, debts and bank balances, seemed to include the fact they had hoards of cash in their residence or elsewhere. Which did them no good when trying to prove they were capable of saving money, because none of it was reflected on a savings/checking balance. It wasn’t a phenomenon she frequently encountered with her white applicants. Very much a racial/cultural thing evidently.

Get over it. Seriously.

All I am saying is that is is plausible, because it is consistent with known cultural behaviors.

You argue that it doesn’t pass the giggle test. I’m arguing that the giggle test doesn’t enter into it.

And I don’t blame Willis a bit for not letting the judge see her bank statements. She’s entitled to some level of privacy and to be taken for her word. My ex- tried to get my bank records during a custody dispute. None of her fucking business: she got the summary page of my tax returns every year (and I got hers) and that’s all she was entitled to. The judge asked through my attorney if he could see my banking records to check for undisclosed consulting income. I told my attorney, “No.” The judge told her lawyer she had everything she was entitled to and could not have my bank records.

ETA: Of course Willis has a bank account and a debit card. She’s employed by the government and governments went to direct deposit a long, long, long, (like, decades) time ago. If she didn’t have a bank account she could not get paid. They will not cut paychecks.

Incidentally, that’s true of most employers these days.
