Well the claim I was responding to is that Fani Willis shouldn’t be DQ’d for going on vacation with anyone. Just pointing out that can’t be the rule. Also, Joe Biden and Jack Smith are on the same side. It still wouldn’t be right for Biden to pay for Smith’s Spring Break.

I view this decision and fine as some bit of karmic justice for some of the contractors and residents of NYC who had to tangle with him in court as well as folks who came back from serving honorably during WWII and Korea and got screwed over by him and his father.

Indeed, Fani’s behavior in this case has been atrocious and unabashedly political, starting with her public speeches. Her behavior on the stand was incredible in that she was so verbose. It’s hard to believe she is even a lawyer. She’s earned what she’s getting. If the Trump prosecution fails, it’s all on her.
Making this about race is just ridiculous, given her bad behavior. Jeepers, Kurtz. I thought you were smarter. Sanctioning Trump is important, and we have an incompetent, unethical clown in the DA’s office.

If there’s anyone “making this about race”, it’s posts like this one. A billion white prosecutors run around saying the same stuff about cases they’re prosecuting, to no reaction.

Nonsense. This is the most important case in the country. That’s why it’s getting scrutiny. You can cry about skin color if you’re a racist. Sensible people just want a competent, ethical DA who can get Trump convicted.
When my grandmother passed away in 1980 one of the items she left behind for my grandfather and the family was a few coin collections. Sorting through them was kind of a pain because you had to consult books as well as go to a coin and jewelry store. There were also some books of S&H green stamps which were easy enough to redeem at the grocery store.

Yes, have alway some cash or a way to pay.
A corporate recruiter was shocked that I didn’t call him when my flight home was cancelled. Some of us passengers shared a rental car to get home, and the driver wouldn’t accept any money from me or the other student . I only bothered telling him afterward because I thought the company should get their money back for the worthless plane ticket. Another was shocked that I had cash and could help pay the parking fee when my plane was late. He had come to the airport without enough cash to get a cup of coffee while he waited. Cell phones and debit cards have made life a lot better in these cases.
The conflict alleged is that she has a financial interest in the prosecution due to the travel expenses Wade paid for her while serving as her contractor in charge of prosecuting the case.
