Heâs exactly what he seems like heâd be: a reflexively antagonistic loudmouth slob whoâs not really all that bright and has narcissistic personality disorder as the primary component of his personality. Heâs not some sort of intuitively shrewd political mind; heâs just the hot mess the base wants to date. Itâs a sheer random-chance thing.

Something that caught my eyeâand many here on these threads have commented onâand that is the fact his behavior was, by-and-large, not well tolerated twenty or thirty years back but is a point of pride (obviously with him) with many who are in their sixties and seventies now and those who are just too ignorant to know any better but spiteful and feeling rebellious because life hasnât treated them as well as theyâd either expected or as they see others living (like Trump, himself, or the Kardashians and Caitlyn Jenner ⌠and it sticks even further up their crawl that Bruce is now Caitlyn â and thatâs âsupposed to be ok???â
I must admit that, though I never really thought about hardly ever, there was a part of myself that thought Trumpâand probably many like himâis presenting a façade of some sort. Obviously, this year, I no longer think that.
