Discussion: Trump Stirs The Nunes Memo Pot By Denying Democratic Rebuttal Release

Guess the WH is responding to Schiff’s opening chess move by playing tiddlywinks.

In the name of transparency, nonpartisanship … and his own job, er – national security … Donnie once again attempts to censor the truth.

It’s been pointed out that the Fox newsers pronounce Rosenstein as rosenSTEEN, when in fact it’s STEIN adding just a touch of Jew to drive home the point that there’s shifty at work at Justice.

We say this kind of thing lightheartedly, but to think there’s a genuine possibility, if true is horrifying. We might have a semi literate individual as president. If he doesn’t have reading comprehension, he won’t have comprehension of any oral presentation, and 280 characters, including the several !!! doesn’t make for coherent policy statements.

That same group of lily white supremacist news readers had a field day when Obama nominated Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. They’re severely challenged with anything more than monosyllabic names like Smith and Jones.

Possible? Any evidence to contradict it?

Are you kidding? I am SICK of having the orange turd invade me head space. Hotel lobbies, nail salons, doctors offices — everywhere I go, the news is blabbing about this jackass, showing clips of his hideous blathering, and on and on. Censorship? It’s common decency! Actually, I wish they’d just turn the dang boob tube off, period, and let me read😡

Not to get too far off topic, but learning disabilities and reading difficulties are not synonymous with being semi literate or lacking in comprehension. My wife taught at a school for dyslexic students where some very intelligent middle schoolers would struggle to read at the See Dick Run level. Our son is dyslexic but still managed to earn a Ph.D. from Berkeley. Familial support is an important component in learning to cope with language processing disorders. The same cannot be said for covering willful ignorance.

Dismounts from soap box.

Does Trump move his lips when he watches television and perk up when there are bright colors shown?

Einstein was dyslexic. That’s not really the point here.

My son is severely dyslexic. He is very bright and reads perfectly. He is going to a good college. He will never love to read, but he had the discipline and support he needed to learn how to do it well.

Trump’s notorious lack of discipline, narcissism, and pathological dishonesty make the possibility of him having never bothered to become functionally literate a real possibility. And it is indeed a scary one.

Nunes and the Republicans on the committee refuse to subpoena records. It is now beyond party over country. It is now protect Trump over protect the country.

they’re actually building a wall in their SCIF so they can be all traitorous and shit without Dem oversight.

Phockers must burn.

Which is to say, protect their increasingly vulnerable butts over protect country.

There are a LOT of GOP brown nosers in DC who have broken the law at this point.

I’m pretty sure that’s right out of the fascist playbook. Get enough people to help you break the law and pretty soon those laws won’t exist anymore.

That’s my understanding too. Kyle Cheney (a Politico reporter covering Congress) tweeted the other day how it could be released after the moron’s refusal.

The best mathematician I ever knew was dyslexic.

Dyslexics and people in the autism spectrum tend to develop methods for integrating their unusual perspectives into more conventional cognitive reality.

It gives them a very unusual skill set and the ability to race through subjects that most of the rest of the world has to slog.

Data processing is a good example. So is music and cryptography.
