Since the Nunes memo is now largely debunked and this move appears to be so transparently political to nearly everyone, I’d say that the Democrats successfully squashed this attempt to discredit the investigation. Not that Republicans won’t try again tomorrow (and every day after for the rest of this year).

**Surprise saw that coming from minute one…**a pure political move especially because the FBI and other agencies have a copy and have not said a word about the need for redaction and/or changes.

The democratics can simply do what the Radical Extremist Republican Party said they would do it Trump didn’t release the Nunes Memo-read it into the congressional record. Republicans cited a law that protects members of Congress who reveal classified information in this manner. So now all the Democrats have to do is use this same method to get their own memo out to the media and the public.
A Dem can sacrifice himself/herself and simply release the memo ala Diane Feinstein. This person may be charged with something but the memo will be out. Or Democratics’ can simply leave a copy of it on a park bench somewhere and let a few select people know where they can find it. There’s always a way.
