Discussion: Trump: Sprint Is Bringing 5K Jobs Back To US Because Of ‘The Hope’ I Created

Boy, Michelle Obama really really got to him when she said that we were all feeling what it was like not to have hope.

hahahahahahahaha!!!

5,000 jobs here, 3,000 jobs there…if it adds up to something over 200,000 you have one month of above average job growth. If we are going to get the 4% growth Trump has promised, better make that 250,000 jobs. Maybe Trump’s pronouncements get some traction with his poorly educated demographic but it makes him sound like an idiot to everyone else. Someone needs to get it through his thick head that the POTUS doesn’t improve the economy by jawboning CEOs one by one.

I hope so much that after their vacation, the Obamas come back here and go back to needling the unpresident.

Wonder what big deal Trump promised them? What mega merge will they be allowed to have"

So now he’s stealing “hope”? FFS.

As for “robust Christmas spending”, I admit we spent a fair amount. But what drove us was a kind of “F*ck it, why not enjoy ourselves before he’s inaugurated and the world truly goes to shit”. A last meal of sorts….

Sounds like needling from Hawaii is doing just fine.

I didn’t realize he was in Hawaii but yes it is doing great. It’s quite enjoyable.

Sprint: terrible service in our area. I was buying phones a couple of weeks ago; the Sprint store was open but deserted. Three bored employees. I looked at an upscale Samsung… they wanted about $750. Nearby, the Verizon store was packed. And the same phone was over $300 cheaper. You read that right. With the same monthly plan. So… Sprint, which sells expensive vapor-ware basically, has also been cheesing-out on cheap foreign labor? Just wow. That makes them look even worse.

I’m hoping the Obamas establish confound-a-trump.org as a 501(c).

Seems this was all part of Masayoshi’s investment strategies he announced BEFORE TRUMP WAS ELECTED, no?

God do I hate this worthless piece of shit. Why can’t the Democrats deputized one of their best and brightest to Tweet the 'loyal opposition, response to Trump’s stupid tweets. They should get the press to follow the response tweet with the same reverence and vigor they display when Trump Tweets. This would drive our Pussy graber-in-chief crazy. I nominate Sen. Al Franken for that task.

Trump tweets at 3:00am and then the sun comes up. Never a miscommunication. You can’t explain that. QED, Trump’s tweets cause the sun to rise.

Well since the earth revolves around the sun and rotates on it’s axis, I’ll meet your Q.E.D. and raise you one Copernican revolution and one universal law of gravitation. And also one conservation of angular momentum.

I think Trump tweets in the early a.m. as his preferred form of ejaculation—probably his only, come to think of it, given his health and the rumors.

I’m thinking Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog.

I mean, it’s a Japanese company, right? How can Trump crow about bringing jobs back, if all the profits go to Japan? If the profits are all Japanese, does this mean Trump is proud that we’re now competitive with India and Nigeria for low wage call center jobs? Boy, this is really livin’ the dream. Way to make America great again.

We have one President at a time in the US. Between election day and noon on Jan 20th, the president-elect should keep his pie-hole shut. I know that’ll be tough for tRump but speaking for the majority of voters, STFU POETUS tRump!

The real question becomes; will the orange fascist take all the credit when the stock market collapses and his friends are lining up on Drumpf towers roof to jump off as well?

The people who actually know the numbers state that their are, right now, 5.5 million vacant jobs. 3.5 million are in what are called Skilled Trades, they do not require student loans as they are apprenticeship. Sure it takes several years to gain a master cert, but Journeymen can and do make up to $70K per year
The other 2 million jobs all require specialized training, which factories used to do, but stopped when people quit for higher paying jobs Tool and Die maker, model maker, CAD machine operator, robot repair and programmer, Hospital Equip repair. Xray repair, MRI repair. Other Hospital equipment repair.
Millions of jobs, most require training, but not a college degree.
So why aren’t young people looking into all of these jobs? Skilled trades start paying the worker starting on day 1.
Most schools are associated with skilled trades and can get an apprenticeship program started.
Since not everyone wants to get a 4 year college degree, HS guidance counselors
Need to realize this and steer people towards that that the young person really wants to do instead of just rote telling everyone that they can not succeed without a 4 year degree. That people is a lie. 5.5 million vacant jobs, some with starting pay of over $100,000 a year. (That was in fact about several job openings at a heavy machine dealership in Las Vegas about 3 years ago)
Large machine dealers look towards Army Tank mechanics because they are already trained.
