Absolutely. This is a huge threat. Ds must (1) create and publicize a database of every job lost in the USA, #ThanksTrump. (2) Undermine these bogus announcements with tweets etc that Trump is lying and corrupt. (3) Somehow find a way to belatedly portray the Obama years as a huge jobs boom (which it was, but which Ds somehow succeeded in being embarrassed about) The President of the Electoral College cannot be allowed to brand himself as Mr. Jobs.

I just heard Republican strategist Susan Del Percio interviewed. She said this won’t work for Trump past Inauguration Day. At that point, she said that Trump will have to accept equal blame for the companies which will continue to move jobs overseas. She said job creation numbers will be issued on a monthly basis and he will need 250,000 new jobs, not 5,000. I realize her argument is reasonable and therefore unlikely to prevail.

Companies make these plans well in advance and the decisions are based on both short and long term cost and revenue projections that affect the bottom line and ultimately price per share which is the service corporations perform for their ownership. I’d like to hear how Mr. Trump changed these parameters for those corporations who changed their minds because of the “Hope he created.”
