Discussion: Trump Quickly Hits Back At Corker After Sen. Makes Morning News Show Rounds

There were suggestions before that Mitch could just ignore the parliamentarian. Is that possible?

Probably gritted smiles for the senators - and full blown animal house food flinging from Dotard.

Nah. Go Corker!

He has a larger and different audience that we do. Corker carries far more weight with his own supporters than we do. These are people we hope will soon be former Trump supporters.

Thank you for bringing a tactical perspective to this. It’s so easy to get caught up in the poo-flinging, “I know you are but what am I” nonsense of this administration. Very much like the idea that Corker needles him here to rattle him before important negotiations.

Melania: Choose kindness
I’d like to have been a fly-on-the-desks of the Middle-school boys to hear their reaction to her suggestion.
Has she thought of taking the show on the road to a middle-school in, say, Brooklyn, or Boston, or LA, or Miami, or SF…etc, ertc.?

No way that #AlertTheDaycareStaff was awesome, That’s enough for me to forgive Corker of a few things.

We know what everything he touches is! :scream:

Of course it’s possible—after all, we’re talking about Yertle.

But he would be very stupid to do so, because the short-term gain is vastly outweighed by the long-term damage to the GOP.

Question for Republicans: are you a Corker or a Trumper?

Actually name calling is the first step. If Corker is able is able to scorn Trump with other GOP senators staying in the sidelines, is a very ominous sign for Trump, if another two or three senators joins Corker (McCain is also at it), it would mean that Trump already expended his political capital and ready for a impeachment.

Mrs. Trump definitely choose kindness when dealing with her bully, Donald Trump. A lot of kindness.

A do not have much sympathy for Melania, however, she was shoved into a role that she is the least qualified for.

That is not to say she does not have any talents, she could teach High School girls the skills and mind frame necessary to catch a millionaire husband, all while maintaining enough self-steem and not think of themselves as harlots.

We need three or four more patriotic Pub Senators to retire and grind all this insanity to a halt.

I wonder if Corker is purposely doing this to get Trump to stop attacking a pregnant Gold Star widow.

So tactically, he is throwing Donald off kilter ahead of this meeting (which IS nothing more than a photo op)
[/quote]So, now the photo op also includes a “praise-me-more-than-the-other-guy-did” and “listen-to-my-grievances” session.

Corker plays the rodeo clown to get Trump off trash talking the dead service members families. This is comical in it’s obviousness.

With Pence as president, we will have a religious fanatic and a moron, who compensates by being a coward. But really It’s still better than Trump. Shave Trump’s head and you will find “666” written in orange letters, He is the antichrist hell bent in destroying society. I already hate evangelicals, “patriots”, generals, the flag (both of them rebel & union) and the NFL.
