One of the most depressing days of my life was my first 3-D head x-ray by a dentist. I’m sitting there looking at my reflection, with a bit red cross-hairs on my face, and I was like, “Holy fuck, I had no idea my face was so asymmetrical!”
Note: Still look nothing like this mule-kicked jerkoff.
The baby boomers were the flower children of the 60’s, liberal as you can get. Who can forget the ideas from their youth (“Make Love Not War”, Zero Population Growth, Earth Day, car pooling, overwhelmingly supported Mc Carthy over Nixon )? Most “old fogies” I know do take their civic responsibility seriously, vote each election and are progressives.
Eh, no interest in that. I get far more out of ballet–very artistic. Nothing against opera–I’ve tried it a few times. LOL, I think the whole boys in tights thing got me but then I really started to enjoy watching just any of them. Visual beauty. I miss that from my time in San Francisco. Central Virginia is not well known for the arts.
So we’re seeing a drop in Walker’s numbers. Does that mean the voters in his state are finally coming to their senses? I would hope so but they did turn down a recall and voted him back into office so there’s that. It could be they just don’t want him to leave Wisconsin.
By which you mean his left eye is noticeably higher than his right. That’s the side of his head that is wider - his hair looks twice as wide on the left as the right. Unless his hair just stands out over there and he gets bad haircuts or something. You would have to shave his head to tell if it’s hair or skull.
Well, I seem to remember the Young Republican crowd were around then too. They grew up to be Dick Cheney and their little brothers grew up to be Samuel Alito.
Generally speaking when Eustace types properly he’s stepping out of his well known and appreciated parody/sarcasm character and offering something serious. I think in this case he is stating fact… with a certain edge.
At the same time he’s defunding the state’s university system, he’s also getting ready to give about $100 million to two billionaires who want to build a basketball arena for the Bucks. WI taxpayers will be on the hook for building that arena for about $250 million. Did your friend mention this because according to what I’ve read the people are furious even the most ardent basketball fans.
In the 2016 race for the U.S. Senate, Democrat Russ Feingold receives 47 percent support and Republican Ron Johnson 42 percent. In April, Feingold received 54 percent to Johnson’s 38 percent. Feingold is viewed favorably by 42 percent and unfavorably by 30 percent, with 28 percent unable to give a rating. Johnson is seen favorably by 30 percent and unfavorably by 31 percent, with 38 percent unable to rate him. In April, Feingold’s rating was 47 percent favorable and 26 percent unfavorable, with 26 percent unable to rate. For Johnson in April, 32 percent had a favorable view, 29 percent unfavorable, and 39 percent were unable to rate.
AND two prime downtown parcels for $1.00 each so they can develop the area around the new arena. Who wouldn’t love a deal like that? That’s why billionaires are billionaires, they don’t have to pay out of pocket like the rest of us.
There’s nothing billionaire developers like more than putting sports fans on the hook to fund their dreams. And then charge exorbitant prices for the tickets and for the opportunity to buy those tickets through a bizarre subscription thing.
Many of the best known rockers (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger) were born in the early 1940’s and so are/were not baby boomers. Many of those in the “hippy” movement in San Francisco were also of that age. Cheney was born in 1941 so it is conceivable that he could have turned out more “normal”. But such was not the case.
