Discussion: Reporters Forbidden From Bringing Cams, Talking To Kids At Child Migrant Center

Crime against humanity

Or to take off the bags covering their heads.

It makes you ask what the fuck is wrong with Chuck Schumer is what it does, actually. But it was obviously a planned fold (I thinks Chuck and Nancy speak to each otherđŸ€«) again, to the Republicans. I guess they figured that the polls said they should vote for it, so they did
completely abdicating their responsibility, again, to open their fucking mouths to sway public opinion. Pelosi thinks AOC is too harsh with ‘concentration camps’

What did we elect these useless assholes for again?

Immoral. This is truly an unbelievable development and unforgivable event. I will work tirelessly to retire the Dem establishment. If it doesn’t work, time for a new party. They’ve lost all direction.

It’s safe to say the image of a dead father and his daughter has been seen by most everybody. We get it without having it posted repeatedly here and in other media including TV news programs. We know the president is cruel and uncaring, so whatever is said in social media including our community groups has no impact on him.

I’m calling forward to having a conversation with the TPMer who posted the picture of soon to be dead Jews.

I can be impeached and they still want me to be President!

Trump is responsible for the death of innocents.

McConnell is the problem.

I thought Pelosi was a brilliant tactician able to bring together opposing caucuses for the big wins? And that was supposed to make up for the fact that she is a crap messenger and anti-charismatic
 What happened, guys?
At what point does being wrong constantly begin to give you some pause regarding your natural inclinations?

Yes McConnell and the Dems who voted overwhelmingly to pass his Bill.

Warren and Klobuchar visited a detention center in FL. It’s been in the news.

When is Klobuchar going to come out in favor of Schumer and Pelosi’s retirement then?

Jersey boy, your misogyny is stronger now than it was earlier today. It was shit then, it’s deeper, more intense shit now and your lack of understanding as to how the Speaker functions is more clueless than it was earlier.

Schumer and Pelosi’s retirement

Add ageism.

Maybe she has. I don’t know. If she did, she’d be ineffective, right?

Lol. Yes, you will scrape the ground for any excuse for their shameless incompetence and, now, actual affirmative villainy, won’t you? You’ll result to any insult when you are unable to support your view with facts.
It’s folks like you who are beginning to render terms like “racism,” “misogyny” and “sexism” meaningless. You use these terms as general insults, like you would call someone an asshole for cutting you off. Be more careful with your epithets. You are playing right into the conservatives’ hands with that bullshit.

Which conservatives would that be? Those who turn up at TPM to comment? Or those who are out there who don’t give a shit about a progressive blog and don’t know and don’t care what’s said here.

Lol! Don’t flirt. I know you’re hurt that your hero betrayed humanity. I feel for you, but, really, you should go to bed.

The money’s going to the owners of the private prisons, like former DHS head John Kelly, who initiated the family separation and baby jails policy. I seem to recall Jeff Sessions (“Let’s criminalize asylum”) also had a stake in the private prison industry, which is currently expanding to meet the growing need to imprison asylum-seekers.

Undoubtedly some also goes to the Betsy DeVos-owned orphanages where they also charge over $700 per night but make extra bucks by selling the babies and kids to adoptive parents. You know, the kids that somehow got “lost” in the system.

Intentional sadism and human trafficking. That’s where we are now.

Democracy Now with Amy Goodman had a Human Rights lawyer on. She described interviewing the little prisoners housed in one huge concentration camp. Human Rights are not allowed in the camp, but they are allowed to interview some of the children in an interview room one at a time. They started with the youngest and those who had been there the longest. It was heartbreaking to listen to the lawyer talk about some of the interviews. Some are kept there as long as 26 days, without change of clothes. Older children take care of the very young.

And whats the legal justification asserted for denying access as they are doing? Do the kids have guardians? Probably not. Who speaks for them? They’re probably in legal limbo when it comes to that. I want to see the CBP cite chapter and verse authorizing them to deny access to members of Congress and reporters. These kids are not criminals or terrorists. They’re treating these kids as mini me Guantanamo detainees.

No fucking idea. For the public, sure. For reporters, fine. But for Congresscritters, who are the literal oversight of everything?!?

The most heartbreaking part of children’s imprisonment is they don’t know when it will end and many have no contact with their families so they worry that they will never see them again.

Thank Nancy Pelosi on your way out.
