Eh, I just don’t think Pence is smart enough to do so.

Oh Mikey! Do you even KNOW the person who’s on the ticket with you. Hell, with this you look even more clueless than the Idiot Man who picked you. Do better…K? Thanks!

Last I heard, “Politics ain’t beanbag.” Grow a pair!

Great piece on Trump insults from the New York Times:

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence took issue with Obama calling Trump a “demagogue” during his speech, saying that it made him feel disheartened.

Well, you’re hitched to the demagogue so you should feel disheartened. Glad you can feel it!

I know you are, but what am I?

Well, Mikey, if I cannot call you a lying, low-life, hypocritical, treasonous motherfucker during a political campaign, when can I call you a lying, low-life, hypocritical, treasonous motherfucker? Hopefully, at the Thanksgiving dinner table, after Clinton wins the election, saying it to you whilst I shove the turkey wishbone up your anal-retentive ass.
Is that civil enough for you, you fucking schoolmarm?

Once again, all the good snark has been taken.

Well it’s true that Hewitt’s failure opens an opportunity for someone else to point out the contradiction. But a real-time follow up question could have been devastating, especially if, as I strongly suspect, Pence would have fumbled around sounding flustered and embarrassed – unable to make a coherent argument for why Trump’s many insults are different or O.K., but also not wanting to condemn those insults, but also not wanting to concede that his complaint about Obama was utterly hypocritical. Could have been quite a trainwreck. Instead his staff will have an opportunity to craft a response/evasion that may be at least semi-coherent and smooth, if not at all convincing. So, still an opportunity there, but a better opportunity already lost.

you’d think the DNC would only need to run ads with trump saying one thing then denying it, and Pence saying what he has and then showing trump doing exactly what Pence says shouldnt happen. I really think ad makers for the DNC either live in a bubble or have no idea how to fight down and dirty.

Bet Mikey, Paulie, Rinse, et al., are gonna get mighty sick and tired of covering Don the Con’s butt for him over the next three months. The question is, who’s gonna crack first and just give it up.

Pfeh, yeah but so what? How many times has HE declared bankruptcy?

I don’t know that Pence has much choice at this point. And its not just covering Trump’s butt…its having Trump shoot him down while in the process of trying to cover his butt. Like he did on the Russian hack issue…Pence is out saying that the American government will respond forcefully to it, and Trump is out there at the same time pleading for Russian to conduct more hacks.

This one is equally as stunning, more its self inflicted by Pence. I mean seriously…with Trump as your running mate, you are going to take umbrage at the President calling him a demagogue? That name calling has no place in politics? God Lord, man…has your running mate ever mentioned Hillary in the past 2 months WITHOUT calling her names?

But blood chilling show trials and calls to jail and assault political opponents are just peachy. Right Mikey?
