Discussion: Pence Scolds Obama For DNC Speech: Name Calling Has No Place In Politics!

Tell you what, Mike Pence.

Let’s put Bloomberg’s tax returns on one side of the table, and your man Donald’s on the other side.

I wonder whose will measure up?

(Hint: it’s not going to be Littlefinger’s)

I’m sorry you feel that way about name calling, you homophobic, priggish, self-righteous, eating-at-Chili’s-in-Times Square ass-bumpkin.

Surely Hewitt must have followed up by asking about out the yuuuuuuuge contradiction between Pence’s statement that name-calling has no place in politics, and Trump’s constant name-calling of his opponents.

Because not to would be journalistic malpractice of the highest order.

Oh, wait, we’re talking about Hugh Hewitt. Never mind.

Mike Pence may be proof of his own theory that condoms don’t work. I mean—just look at him!

And I hear Barack feels just awful about what he said and is getting ready to take it back and say he’s sorry.

“Little” Bloomberg with all that BIG money and BIG news service worth 9 billion.

That is exactly why Bloomberg bothered Trump the most. Their money shows Bloomberg is the objectively superior business man. And Trump feels nothing but shame for his inferiority.

Classic projection from the party of no personal responsibility.

I guess the DNC came out with ‘Crooked Hillary’, huh?

Clueless. Just clueless. And it’s all they’ve got.

You can argue about his mayoralty, but he’s the Real Deal, and a true job creator. I have many friends and clients at his firm.
Bloomberg’s fortune is estimated at $46.7 Billion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Bloomberg

Keep in mind Bloomberg has given away $3.3 billion as well. And that was as of 2014
Bloomberg has been a longtime donor to his alma mater, Johns Hopkins University. In January 2013, he donated $350 million to the university, the largest single gift in the school’s history. In total, Bloomberg has donated $1.1 billion to Johns Hopkins, making him the most generous living donor to any education institution in the country.[65]

Trump’s a piker compared to Bloomberg. Fer crying out loud, he made Eagle Scout at 13.

But … I thought it was ok for him to be wrong a little bit —

I love it! Start it with Pence saying he doesn’t like the name calling, then do a vignette of various times Trump called numerous people names, and then end with Pence saying he doesn’t like the name calling. This should be part of a series “What Mike Pence really thinks of Trump”. It has the advantage of making Pence look dishonest and stupid while also highlighting what a massive horse’s ass Trump is. A two-fer!

If Trump won’t use it we can.

Pence venturing into the hostile territory that is Hugh Hewitt’s show. 2.25M soon-to-be expiring angry white dudes.

Well, is Pence 100% on board? He could be trolling Trump himself here.
No doubt Benedict Donald told him to make a statement, but man…

So Mike Pence is in favor of “political correctness,” is that what he’s saying?

Geez - it only took from Wed to Friday for Pence to come up with this self-righteous retort? Holder is right about Trump being not so bright and that observation could be extended to Pence. Not to mention the total lack of GOP self-awareness.

Good point. Still, he’s opened the door for a decent journalist (and there are still a few out there) to say, “Governor, you recently took the president to task for calling Donald Trump a “demogogue” and yet, Mr. Trump has called X, Y, Z, these X, Y, Z names, even recently calling Michael Bloomberg “little Mikey”. Isn’t that hypocritical?”

I think he meant he was a “Christian” first. A “Christian” is similar to a Christian except for worshiping Satan rather than Jesus…
