You left out dishonest, lying.

But earthquakes don’t just happen on our command.

It takes time and date and of course fate.

Maybe you could be seeing 6.2 soon

I hate to break the news to Ryan but Trump is definitely the heir to the Reagan, remember St. Ronnie opened his general election by delivering a speech in Philadelphia, Miss. national headquarters of the KKK

Paulie has a sad. He coulda been a contenda by acclamation. This, too, shall pass, and we’ll see Paulie riding the Trump train before too long.

That line always kills me. A marathon runner would never forget his or her best time–especially a sub three hour time. For every marathoner I’ve met it would be like forgetting the name of your first born child.

Of course, he lied.

Since Ryan will be running the convention, this is going to be the most awkward coronation since “Carrie” won Prom Queen.

Exactly. Exactly.

A few months ago I mentioned on FB that one of my pals (an elite runner) had, back in the day, posted sub 2:30 times. He IMMEDIATELY corrected me — his personal best was 2:33.

One does not lie about this stuff. It simply is not done.

Except, of course, that IOKIYAR.

“But he also inherits something very special,” Ryan said. “This is the party of Lincoln”
Oh come on. They are so not the party of Lincoln. I am getting so sick of that shit. Lincoln’s party was not the party of southern whites.

maybe the party of old people who drive lincolns. but that’s it.

Just what I was about to say. Will he eventually support him? He almost certainly will, but never in my lifetime has something like this happened. You’re the Speaker of the House and you’ve got to THINK about supporting your nominee? This is serious. I may never vote for a Republican again, and I may never like the party, but some of them will at least earn a bit of my respect if they refuse to support Trump. At the very least, I can finally be convinced that they really do love their country and they really do have principles, and that some of this obstruction and these regressive policies really are born of differing beliefs.

This is the party of Bush, Cheney, and Hastert–and now the Donald. Not Lincoln, not Kemp (interesting choice…) and even substandard to the historical–not mythical–Ronald the First

Here is the key tell:

"Ryan also said he expected the primary race to go on longer than it did, perhaps all the to the convention.

“Conservatives want to know, does he share our values and our principles, on limited government, the proper role of the executive, adherence to the constitution,” Ryan said. “There are lots of questions conservatives are going to want answers to, myself included.”

Translation: Ryan was hoping it would go to a contested convention and he would be drafted as the nominee. That not so secret dream just went up in flames.

EDIT: Actually, what I think is going on here, is Ryan is looking at 2020. I think any savvy GOPer has already factored in that Trump is losing in 2016, and they don’t want to be associated with backlash if they are going to run in 2016. This is particularly troublesome for Ryan, who has a bit of the Romney stench still on him; Getting on board early with Trump would be a tow time loser death sentence.

The Stones have made clear they don’t want Trump using their music at his rallies. So much for:
Sympathy for the Devil
Can’t always get what you want
Gimmie Shelter
Mother’s little helper

A dumbell, sure, but Trump, no way…

Meant to ask… What is your tell for this election? By that I mean what are the indicators you’ll be looking for to determine how well you’ll expect Clinton to perform.

Not the national headquarters of the Klan.

But it is the city where three civil rights activists—Schwerner, Chaney, and Goodman—were brutally murdered by the Klan.
