As you pointed out at the start, it’s a numbers game and you have to break Whites down into groups. Right now, Rump just doesn’t have enough Whites across the board to win, He has a majority of some White support (i.e., the VERY racist portion) and it’s very strong. They would come out to vote for Rump crawling on their knees over broken glass if necessary.
