Discussion: Mitch McConnell's Campaign Manager Resigns

Classic photo, TPM.

It captures in plain sight the devil-may-care, moral relativism of the conservative movement. I wonder, though, just how corrupt is the Republican Party in Kentucky and Iowa?

“…and for the country…”

Oh?

If you overlook the facts he’s a degenerate scumbag, Jesse Denton is actually a decent guy.

Friday night of a holiday weekend, trying to bury it in a news cycle dead zone.

to bad the election isnt about mcconnell its about the black in the white house… doesnt matter… mcconnell wins because redneck whites outnumber the people who would vote for grimes. the country is in a quasi civil war, mcconnell is on there side , the democratic party is for gays , blacks, illegals, anti gun socialist communist fascist anti god…and expect white people to pay for it all… thats the story on fox news

“This decision breaks my heart, but I know it is the right thing for Mitch, for Kentucky and for the country,” Benton said. How self aggrandizing. Let’s get one thing straight. The “country” has no idea who he is nor does it care. Just another example of the self-importance of the inside the beltway crowd.

How is it that the “commonwealth desperately needs him” when he’s been in power for such a long time?

Mitch McConnell = Sinking Old Ship/Turtle

Jesse Benton = Big Crooked GOP Rat

"After 30 f’n years of Galapagos Mitch, It’s time to switch!"

Dump the guardian of gridlock! Vote Alison Lundergan Grimes!

This is another incident which tells about Mitch McConnell’s quality of judgement. He could never judge what is best for the nation, what is better for the Republican Party and what is better for himself. He now owes a clarification about what he did or did not do to bring the culprits in political bribing to task.

This is equally a story concerning the sleaziness of the Paul family.

The reptilian POS is probably still going to win, because rural red-state voters are just that deluded.

It is so hard to hold on to good staff now that they can get healthcare through the Kentucky Obamacare exchange.

Let’s all watch as Rand Paul joins the distinguished list of GOP presidential hopefuls currently caught up in scandals, investigations, and indictments. We still have two-years to go… Who’ll be next?

If 2012 was the Republican clown car, 2016 could end up as the Republican perp walk. Round up the usual suspects.

Seriously though, Rand Paul gets the nom in 2010 by totally tearing apart the Republican establishment in Kentucky. Four-years later Mitch McConnell is in the political fight of his life and looks like he’s heading to an embarrassing loss. Does anyone seriously think Republicans will want to watch this same thing happen on a larger scale and in front of a national audience?

Jesse’s rumored to own a tan suit…

Nah, if that was true Fox News wouldn’t be ignoring this story.

As usual the fish stinks from the head. A good soldier fell upon his sword to try and save Mitch. Lets hope the voters do fall for this latest spin coming from the campaign. It is time to retire that old fool and send somebody to Congress who wants to accomplish something positive for the nation.

Not only is Mitch consorting with possible felons…worse yet he is pictured here wearing a tan suit! Will the horrors ever end?

Wish the headline read Mitch McConnell Resigns.

Best color suit jacket ever on mcturtle. lol
Glad he isn’t shying away from his heritage. But I do suggest a yellow shirt to coordinate the outfit.
Now just find the check he wrote to bribe the wizard over and he can be sent back home, out to sea. lol

To the libertarian crowd, the sleaziness of the Paul family is a shining beacon on a hill. Anyway, what’s to become of the free market if you can’t buy an endorsement when you need one. I mean, actors and athletes get paid for endorsements, why shouldn’t politicians.
