I’ve been informed that the two nurses who have gotten Ebola treated Mr Duncan for the two days prior to the test confirming what he had. And they did not use the moon suits until after the diagnosis. That information puts to rest the concerns I had. Now the concerns evolve to …who the heck dropped the protocol ball at that hospital???

Well, if you saw today’s pre-cabinet meeting White House presser, evidently the White House news corps thinks Obama dropped the ball. They seemed to be consumed with identifying the name of a Federal official who was “in charge;” and former Fox propagandist Major Garrett was fixated on climbing up the press secretary’s ass over it.

Of course that same mutation that makes it airborne might be the mutation that also makes it non-lethal. There are a load of infectious diseases out there that if they became airborne would be devastating. Do you have any idea what would happen if the bubonic plague became airborne? Or anthrax? Or AIDS? And yet, here we are after thousands of years of civilization, still not wiped out. Becoming airborne is a major evolutionary change. We aren’t talking about a single gene sequence here. So don’t panic. It will be fine.

I wonder how many really feel safer by his comments? I feel more uneasy now, because they didn’t even tell those that was exposed to EBOLA (common sense) not travel and to have no unnecessary contact with other people.My opinion is that all who were there when he came in and his family and all who came in contact should’ve been immediately quarantined for the 21 so called days.Back in the day people( with tb were immediately quarantined most put in a sanitarium) people with small pox,polio,typhoid, scarlet fever you name it, they weren’t allowed public contact at all.This is the only way to get this under control today because(people don’t have common sense, you seen what happened with the one on the ohio flight)God only knows the outcome of that stupid action.
It appears the Dallas hospital followed standard protocols for black men who show up at hospitals after returning from Liberia with a fever of 103, stomach pains, and no insurance . Eric Duncan was sent home with some antibiotics and Tylenol.

if it isn’t that easy to get how come so many are dying and they expect it to go to ten thousand a week in Africa.If they don’t know how to contain it there what makes you think they will be successful here.They need to go to Africa and start separating the people that are sick from those who aren’t and take better precautions ,that in my opinion is the only way this is going to stop. and look for a serum or vaccine and start mass making it and nip this thing in the bud NOW.
