It’s not easy to bore people while you’re also trying to scare them to death but News Corp has somehow managed the tricky double feat. I am already bored to tears by all this fear-mongering – perhaps if I were actually persuaded that the “World has 60 days to beat Ebola” (as reported by the front page of Wednesday’s NY Post), I might not be yawning through the ennui, but when the same front page is also discussing the most popular Halloween costumes, I guess the inherent terror is somewhat dulled.
Turns out the ball was dropped at the CDC allowing the nurse to get on a plane. Apparently she called and said “I have a slight fever of 99.5”). So, she got on a plane and flew to Cleveland on Saturday and returned Monday (I think). I believe she would have been not hugely infectious…

Really, is the problem Ebola or Texas? If Rick Perry and his fan club at Faux entertainment care so much, they could do something about it like, improve Texas’ health care and help people to get better health coverage, but nooooooo!
