Anyone remember the previous hysteria over the Asian avian flu virus? Many wrung their hands over the thought of it becoming a pandemic. Still waiting for that one. Same deal with Ebola. People are working themselves into a froth out of fear and ignorance. Not that we should take Ebola lightly but we do need to keep our wits about us in regards to it.

Chammy, I don’t know what happened when. The numbers that I mentioned up thread I would like to see will not be around for at least a couple of months. What little data I have now today makes me wonder what is going on. I’m not trying to be a scare monger at all. But we have the cases in Madrid, and Dallas, Germany and Brazil to follow. We can see from them how the virus behaves. What I am trying to say is…we know what the heads of the CDC, NIH, and WHO have said about the virus. We can compare what they have said to what happens in Dallas, Madrid, Germany and Brazil. Each of those places has just a few cases. So following the lines of transmission is still possible in those places.
Uh, yeah. Fox and Facts just don’t mix well.

Fox News morons aside, this IS what happens when the hospital and Texas Public Health and ultimately the CDC looks like an episode of Monty Python’s “the Twits” all the while telling everyone there was nothing to worry about.
When we cut the CDC, NIH, and other public health budgets, we asked for this.
