Exactly. She showed the world where her priorities lie and robbed us of one our best voices in the process. I am still royally pissed and will never feel the same about her.

She implied that Franken had written the scene especially for her,that it was unusual to rehearse all of the skit, that there were just the two of them rehearsing at night omitting to mention that both were accompanied by their escorts. His escort reports nothing untoward occurred ā so if she stomped off to the bathroom as she claims she was not visibly upset. Franken says he does not remember that night the way she does. Franken has a better reputation for probity than she does given her support for Birtherism. Iād take his word over herās any day of the week.

Where/when was it shown that Tweeden lied? I didnāt see that. I know she mightāve been coached, RW media knew beforehand, etc., etc., but if someone could link to an article, Iād appreciate it. For the record, I donāt think he shouldāve resigned either.

Frankenās accusations have been almost always from his time before his Senate service. He has never agreed that they were what he remembered?
If some person came to you and said that you touched them in 2004, what would you say?
What she did say was that regarding the picture she was on the tour. After the tour, she was sent a bunch of pictures including the famous one with Franken. It was only then, 9 months later, that she realized that something had happened. She was actually not violated. What did happen was that there was a joke violation, and she didnāt know about the joke.
In other words, it was all made up, and was not a violation at all.

I think one does not have to stretch too far to assume she was lying or laying it on pretty thick by saying she was offended/traumatized by a photo of Franken pretending to reach for her breasts or a staged kiss as part of a humorous skit for servicemen. She was a hostess at Hooters in Colorado Springs and one of their top calendar models.
She made her living displaying her breasts, either bare and mostly exposed. As Arne Carlson, a former Republican Governor of Minnesota pointed out:

She continued in 2011 with a tweet containing a photo of her and Franken together.

They signed Dave Collins and Ken Griffey Sr, who were 1-2 at the top of the Cincinatti Reds astro turf hitting lineup, only to have their production on grass prove to beā¦pedestrian. The list is long, Jack Clark, Steve Kemp, Don Gullet, most recently Jacoby Ellsbury and CC Sabbathiaā¦and yes, Giancarlo Stanton, who I am reading this AM could be gone after one year so that the Yankees can sign Bryce Harper. DId Franken mean to demean her or think that the picture would upset her? The joke was in my view more about the nature of male desire than anything else. It can be read in other ways. When called on that Franken recognized those implications he had not intended and apologized. Thatās not something to deprive the voters of their choice over.
Gillibrand jumped the gun on this one and damaged herself and sadly, #metoo in the process.

In my family, I have people who are schizophrenic. They ārememberā shit that happened in 2004, except it didnāt actually happen. They just think it happened. This family member continually states that her stuff gets stolen out of her house. Everyone else knows that her house is a disaster, probably will be condemned, and that everything she owns is in some pile, and she canāt find it.
Mentally ill people are out there, and they make charges against others. People like you are enablers, and help these mentally ill people destroy others. I want to see strong evidence of this stuff. 14 year-old memories of 5 second incidents are either bullshit, evidence of mental illness on the part of the accuser, or simply made up out of whole cloth. None of the accusations against Franken make a single bit of sense. In NONE of them would a prosecutor even consider discussing things.
