Discussion: Graham, White House Feud As Congress Enters Day Three Of Shutdown

I guess Hogan missed the POINT of what Graham was trying to say…‘Hey UNELECTED staff! Keep your noses out of the people’s business!’

I doubt Senator Graham has a whole lot of black friends, but there does seem to be an air gap between regular garden-variety upper-middle-class gated-community institutional racism and outright white supremacy.

Free will.

Exactly! It’s as though the WH is run by 8 year olds:

“Am not. You are!”

“Am not”

“Are too”

We have got to get the Lyin’ King outta there.

I believe we’re all in a lot less control of our actions than we’d like to believe. I believe our brain chemistry and architecture is. Of course that belief is due mostly to my natural and partially to my self induced chemistry!

Hence man’s creation of religion, the root of all evil. Once you’ve surrendered your ability to control your own actions to the nebulous forces of “chemistry” or “God” the battle is half lost.

That is precisely what Graham is doing here. And Trump will respond in some fashion; his ego simply cannot stand having it publicly revealed that he isn’t the one in charge. Kelly is already moving into the danger zone by trying to speak for Trump, so without any doubt, Miller and Kelly are about to have a very uncomfortable week.

The reaction may not be what Graham, or we, want, however. But Trump will respond.

@ronbyers

Graham is giving the White House the perfect fall guy.

That’s exactly how I’m reading it. He’s giving Trump an out, one of his favorites in fact - blaming a minion who personally failed him. For Graham it would be a twofer.

Miller’s not going to let them out alone in a golf cart any time soon.

I wonder if President Kelly will even let Baby Trump see these stories.

WH spox Hogan Gidley on Graham remarks about Stephen Miller: As long as Senator Graham chooses to support legislation that sides with people in this country illegally and unlawfully instead of our own American citizens, we are going nowhere. He’s been an outlier for years.

Ho Gidley? is that Miller’s new pseudonym? Who the hell is Ho Gidley? Is he related to Bo Diddly?

Religion may be man-made, but compassion, even in tiny portions, tends to be innate.

It’s as if they don’t even know what “outlier” means, but it sounds bad.

And let the spanking begin!

Ha ha! Yeah, I read that. Apparently a number of guests who shelled out $100K or $250K were miffed that the traditional pearl-handled spoons were replaced with cheap plastic. Quelle horreur!

Or include it with a specially color-segregated jar of Starbursts, a la McCarthy.

@birdford Ho Gidley? is that Miller’s new pseudonym? Who the hell is Ho Gidley? Is he related to Bo Diddly?

Actually, he’s related to Diddly Squat.

Yes, our executive branch is being run by an unelected, petulant, know-nothing 32-year-old jerk. Not sure that’s any better or worse than being run by an elected*, petulant, know-nothing 71-year-old jerk, except that the 71-year-old is nominally the boss.

So much for the tough talking big guy. He is nothing more than a spineless wimp. What a joke!

You are too kind. Others have described Miller (Senior advisor??!! My ass!) in less flattering terms. Come to think of it, they were being too kind also.
