It’s almost as though Graham has a split personality: every so often, a relatively rational person pops out for a short time, only to be replaced shortly thereafter with a fawning syncophant and spineless partisan.
And the two halves do not appear to be aware of each other’s existence.
The White House quickly shot back, calling Graham an “outlier” and blaming him for peddling legislation that values “people in this country illegally and unlawfully instead of our own American citizens,”
Ah, I see the WH is going full-Nazi now.
Thanks to Senator Graham for pulling aside whatever vestiges of curtain remained.
Trump will have to stick his finger in everyone’s eye and name Stephen Miller as Tillerson’s replacement.
Yo Lindsey Graham, the whole damn Presidency is an Outlier which you helped inflict upon the USA. Democrats told you it would come to this son.
Graham blows hot and Graham blows cold. The point is, Graham likes to blow.
“Every time we have a proposal it is only yanked back by staff members. As long as Stephen Miller is in charge of negotiating immigration, we’re going nowhere. He’s been an outlier for years.”
Trump agrees to a deal and then the deal is yanked back by staff members. Because, you know … Trump is only the president and he simply must do what the staff members say.
The White House quickly shot back, calling Graham an “outlier”
“I know you are, but what am I?”
You’ve. Got. To. Be. Shitting. Me.
Let’s never forget that during the Apprentice he was told whom to fire by the producers.
So, it’s little wonder that he continues to do what others tell him to do. And then waits for the “ratings” to appear on the boob tube. It’s all a publicity game for him.
Perhaps Trump should decamp to Davos for his winter vacation and leave negotiations to the grown ups.
“I’ve talked with the President, I think his heart is right on this issue,” Graham told reporters Sunday, referencing the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals immigration program,
A blatant and obvious lie, but I can understand why Graham said it.
Well we all know how this will probably end sadly. But here’s something even sadder to read in the mean time.

Hell, Bush told them it would come to this. But there was nothing they could do to prevent Trump from being their nominee, because “rules.”
Republicans always talk tough about illegal immigration. Until you suggest rounding up CEO’s, HR Managers, middle class homeowners, and others who happily use undocumented immigrants when it suits them. I always suggest 10 years in prison. It’s a nice round, double digit number. And a small price to pay for those choosing to hire immigrants over Americans. Things usually get real quiet after I put forward my proposal.
“Outlier? YOU’RE the outlier!”
Popcorn time!
It pleases me that Graham criticizes the WH and Miller specifically, but it seems to be temporary tactical window dressing rather than a permanent stand on principle.
Oh Lindsey, don’t get in a spat with Stephen Miller. What you ought to do is call every major publication and demand they put the racist vermin on their covers this week/month…preferably with Ivanka photoshopped in next to him.
“I’ve talked with the President, I think his heart is right on this issue,” Graham told reporters Sunday…
This reminds me of the old line from The Larry Sanders Show; Artie and Larry are talking about Hank:
“His heart’s in the right place, but he keeps his brain in a jar at home.”
And the clown posse performs its favorite shtick – poking each other in the eye.
