If he hasn’t already, when Mueller gets around to questioning President Barack Obama and a few of Obama’s close aides (like Susan Rice), we’ll know we’re getting pretty close to seeing Bitch McConnell, Donald Trump and many many other well-deserving treasonous traitors (don’t leave the country, Devin) handcuffed and being led to some large federal SUVs, trying to ignore the glaring lights and the constant drone of photo flashes and journalists yelling their questions. Donnie will be flailing about, screaming about the “travesty.” Off to the side somewhere will be a rather petite lady dressed to the nines, smiling ear to ear despite all the most-recent injections of gloppy botox. Sarah Sanders will be crying softly; Kellyanne Conway, looking much more haggard than usual, will be uncharacteristically quiet and for the first time in years will look to be defanged.

The reason bills to protect Mueller from being fired by Trump have not nor will not pass either chamber of congress so long as Republicans are in charge is that Republicans want Mueller fired. Firing Mueller ASAP is in fact the only means the Republican majority in Congress has for remaining the Republican majority in congress.
That is it is my belief that the reason it was leaked to the press now when it happened in June that Donald Trump ordered Mueller fired but backed off because the Whitehouse council objected is that Trump was going to fire Mueller now with the Whitehouse council support and the support of the Republican majority leadership in both branches of congress. I mean the obvious bogus attacks on the FBI being a secret society (newsflash, the FBI by definition is a secret society) by Republicans in both houses of Congress was to provide political cover for Trump to fire Mueller. That said, there should be no doubt that Trump, likely sooner instead of later, will have to fire Mueller or resign from office. I mean there are three obvious events that will happen and likely have not already happened because Mueller is using the time to gather more evidence against Trump himself before forcing a showdown with Trump. Those 3 events are the indictments of Sessions, Trump Jr. and Jared Kurshner. All three have lied under oath and on sworn documents about meeting with Russians to discuss business, sanctions and yes, attempts to influence the 2016 election.
That said, Trump cannot allow his son and son-in-law to be indicted and hope to remain president. Also, once son and son-in-law are indicted, it may be to late. Knowing all this, Trump and the Republicans leadership that controls both houses of congress and are now marching in lockstep with Trump, something they were not doing in June, know they must fire Mueller sooner instead of later. So well this revelation about Trump wanting to fire Mueller in June gives Mueller some more time, look for Trump to pull his usual outrageous misdirection play to get at least some people to forget about this story and then fire Mueller with feign outrage by some Republicans before falling in lockstep to protect Trump from any fallout. Again, if you think as I do Mueller will indict Trump’s son and son-in-law, Trump will have to fire Mueller then, and then may be to late. So look for Trump to fire Mueller with some urgency with at first GOP congressional feigned outrage before falling in line and protecting Trump.
The Republican leadership in Congress has no other option if it has any hope of hanging onto power beyond 2018.

Its almost like treason. We need a better word for it though, since internet warfare with a adversarial foreign power wanting to do us harm, doesn’t quite capture the moment we’re living in, or what these pukes are not doing to address it, but instead are more than willing to enable whole-heartedly. Republicans have not just abdicated their responsibility as lawmakers in this matter, they’ve worked against addressing obstruction of justice in every way possible, even when its made public by the inane and unalloyed rantings of Don the Con by his most closest confidants. Its almost unthinkable how they’re determined in ways that will invariably contribute to tearing down this country and our ideals that millions of people throughout the ages have spent hundreds of years fighting to protect…and for what? White Xtian hegemony and fascism by an authoritarian dotard? Wow, just fucking, wow. This is not politics as usual, nor is this normal. They refuse to be a check on this Pr*sident and now they’re saying they will not insure that there is at least one entity that still can be. About all we have left then is to cross our fingers and hope this investigation survives to its natural conclusion…no thanks to the Republican party. But Behghazi!!! Yeah riiiight…they’ll still say that shit was worth millions of our taxdollars being wasted because something, something…I forget

I just saw Lamar being interviewed. He’s too busy working on other things and doesn’t really see the need to do anything right now. Everything is going swimmingly, and what he’s heard about Mueller certainly makes him respect him.
I can just see these guys being nominated for Oscars when it all comes tumbling down, and they, with perfectly innocent faces, cry that they’re just as shocked as the rest of us.

I am now, a Catholic who does not believe in the Rapture, convinced that Lucifer is in office and he got there by swearing to stop abortion and get those damnable ‘preverts’ back into the closet. Then he does all kinds of unchristian ungodly things and the Evangelicals and the Christianists go along with it and Lucifer is destroying the Church as a moral force in America. I mean, I am a believer and I would not follow them out of a BURNING BUILDING. Horrible people doing hideous things, or at least accepting those things.

" From crippling payday loans to cars that cheat emissions tests, this investigative series exposes brazen acts of corporate greed and corruption". At the end of the VW emissions report it shows none other than our infamous potus giving a speech in support of the corporate greed and corruption.
