Discussion: Franken: Sessions Was 'At Best, Extremely Misleading' On Russia Contact

What a beautiful paragraph (and the video which shows Sessions taking the oath to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth - and Franken’s question, which Sessions did NOT answer).

WASHINGTON — Congressional Republicans began breaking ranks on Thursday to join Democrats in demanding that Attorney General Jeff Sessions recuse himself from overseeing an investigation into contacts between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. Those calls came after the disclosure that Mr. Sessions himself spoke with the Russian ambassador last year, in seeming contradiction to his testimony at his confirmation hearing.

Every time anyone in the Trump sphere is associated in any way with Russia, there’s secrecy that suggests guilt, and a stench that suggests that something big and ugly is rotting at the core of it. That’s not coincidence.

don’t include dr. ben, new hud secy, when you say that. let’s just wait for him to do something stupid.

Only $100mln bail? That’s what his Russian overseers call “Trump change”

i recall the recent pissing contest between franken and cornyn over the suitability of beau when grassley had to moderate. he knew all along. now we just sit back and wait for the spend more time family shite to flow.

Democrats quickly accused him of lying to Congress, which would constitute perjury given he was under oath. And some are calling for him to resign.

Hmmm … okay, then $11Billion since Trump has (so called) $10Billion and we wouldn’t want to make it easy on him to put his money where his loud mouth is.

Al, I really, really like you. But “Extremely misleading”=“Lying under oath.”

What’s with the “we” shit, Komrade?

You are no Democrat—as even a cursory glance at your execrable comments shows clearly.

@littlebluegirl–As a side note re: Ben Carson. Now Betsey DeVos has some stiff competition for the title of “Most Clueless Cabinet Member.” She still has a sizable lead, but I can see Ben charging down the backstretch to overtake her at the finish line.

clearly trumpet wanted dr. ben nearby so he could point him out and say there’s my african american.

@ littlegirlblue–That thought has crossed my mind as well.

Yeah, and when Bill Clinton was President, Al Gore won the popular vote, too.

See a pattern here?
