How reassuring to know an adult is in the White House. Which at the same time makes me even more horrified about the theoretical possibility any one of the Repub race could replace him. God help us.

Republicans will try to tie this to Benghazi, blame Hillary and have another congressional hearing.
Any GOP candidate or spinner trying to attack Mr. Obama or Mrs. Clinton with this should be asked to intervene with Dr. Carson and urge his permission to grant US and French access to his âbetterâ intelligence sources.

I am actually watching FOX. Shep Smith is doing a very good job of reporting on this. He is going on a time table and it is much better than any other station, including the BBC. OMG! I canât believe I said that, but it is true.

I have never been to Paris but the movie of a few years ago, Midnight in Paris, opens with the most beautiful tour of the city and it was quite beautiful and at night, when it is all lit up it was dazzling. I know a few people who have lived in Paris and had a lovely apartment there but I never got a chance to visit them.

I lived for a little over a year about two blocks from the 11ème arrondissement attack (rue de Charonne et la rue Faidherbe) many years ago. It breaks my heart.
Edit: The rue de Charonne shooting was at 10 rue de Charonne, less than 2 blocks from my shop on the rue.

Sounds like the same MO used by the thugs in Moscow and BostonâŚprobably the Chechens again. Now maybe Putin will start working with the West to put things right in Syria? They hit them in Egypt earlier this week again and now Paris?
Al Quaeda has been weakened. ISIL is busy fighting a civil war. Letâs keep our eye on the ball and stop assuming that the Middle East is always the problem.
That soft underbelly of Europe has always created mad bombers and anarchists. They are perpetual victims of their own tortured imaginations and take it out on anyone just to justify their existence. This ISIL boogeyman scenario is just too easy of an explanation.
