The Chinese in Syria should have been a clue to everyone?
As I said up thread Iâve been to France many times and I intend to go again in July. Obama was exactly right in his statement about the French. And we should stand in solidarity with them. I have had nothing but good relationships with the French. Not once have I been treated rudely. Quite the contrary. The folks Iâve met there have been unfailingly kind and civil. But then I do not treat anyone like the stereotypical ugly American. I donât expect to be addressed in English and I try my best French that I can manage.
Just this morning Trump stated in his blowhard way his method for handling ISIS. Bomb 'em back to the stone age. The result would be what we see now today times 10. Trump in his short term thinking and reaction ends up stomping on his own tongue.

With his vast personal intelligence network, I would have thought Ben Carson would have known about this coming and alerted the American and French governments.
Mental Ben is holding us hostage. Unless we elect him POTUS, his ubiquitous network of omnipresent spies will remain secret.
Do you have access to Carsonâs intelligence network?
The French stood by us in our revolution and have a brotherly love for their protĂ©gĂ©s in the New World. I have always found the French to be exceedingly good natured and intellectually curious. They donât deserve the shit that has been thrown at them from all angles in the past decade. That smug Republican insult renaming French fries Freedom fries comes to mind.
Have you really forgotten the opera house hostage situation in Moscow of a decade ago or the way the Boston bombers so nonchalantly executed innocents without any sign of concern on the security camera feed? Religious fanatics are warriors proud of what they are doing. Those killing people in Paris tonight are punks.
New reports that the hostage situation is over⊠2 terrorists dead and likely other casualties as the terrorists set off explosives before they were killed.
MSNBC just put the death toll at over 100,very sad.
Damn.
So awful and pointless.
Have the Republicans pinned this on Hillary and called for congressional hearings?
Does anyone else find that Northrop Grumman pop-up ad really creepy and inappropriate right now?
This is one time people should save the snark for a day or two. And if people hear things, put up a link or at least mention where you heard it.
Possibilities:
â pre-positioned people waiting for a signal. The Jihadi John killing may have motivated the signal.
â Terrorists are now slipping in among the refugees.
â This attack is designed to terrorize the French as well as the refugees. Of course refugees are also going to other countries.
Question: Can anyone think of similar situations? Algeria comes to mind.
The 100 dead AP has reported is at the Bataclan concert hall alone. The two terrorists also killed.
Jeb Bush is wasting no time in using the tragedy for political gain:
[ âNo, Iâm not surprised. This is a war being initiated by Islamic
terrorists. Itâs not a law enforcement operation. And the mindset, in
our country at least, needs to change to recognize it for what it is:
This is an organized effort to destroy western civilization. And we need
to lead in this regard. ]

Translation: We arenât aware in âthe wayâ we should be so we need another Bush to lead us. Fu*k him and the rest of the Bush cabal. So much of this is directly related to the FUBAR policies of Dubyaâs administration and his catastrophic, unnecessary and illegal war in Iraq and ventures in the M.E.
I didnât know Bush was still president?
Exactly. Why is the media even reporting on what this clown has to say? His brother got us into this damn mess, including ISIS. A true and real reporter should ask him that.
New reports that between 118 and 140 are dead. So terrible.
The name âBushâ should be spat, not spoken.
Itâs the reason there was no Bush stamp. People would always spit on the wrong side.
What you posted is what Iâve seen 1st hand. I was in Granville, Normandy in the summer of 2014. Coincidentally it was on the 70th anniversary of the townâs liberation during WW2. I was treated like it was me who did the liberating when in truth my Dad fought in the Pacific Theater. I was humbled. I can relate many random interactions that I fondly remember.
My heart goes out to all the French. I am so glad Obama said we will offer whatever help, aid or whatever the French need or want.
